Looks bad. What if you got it graded, and if it comes back altered, you get a refund?

Someone didn't necessarily do it on purpose; could have been trimmed earlier in the chain of ownership.

Didn't realize you already had a buyer lined up, disregard my idea. I don't know much about card production, but is it possible for a card to be shorter?

Exclamation Avoid This Card!! Aaron Rodgers SPA RC 96/99

Purchased this card from a member few days ago and the card arrived today.
Card was moving inside of the one touch which didn't seem right at all so
I measured it with a different SPA.
The card has a pinched corner which the seller mentioned prior to the sale.
But the seller failed to mention the two dents on the upper left of the card and anyone can clearly see that the card is trimmed.
the card was sold in an auction for $1525 and the seller told me it was a non-paying buyer. I even paid over ebay at $1600.
I have not filed a claim and gave the seller 24hrs before I file a claim.
Hopefully he comes forward or am I wrong about the card being trimmed?

*Update - The seller was very very understanding and cooperative,He had no clue of the flaws and he plans to refund me tomorrow and I'll ship the card back via Express as soon as refund is in place.
So far the seller maybe the victim as well of others foul play.

Issue have been resolved.

I had a buyer lined up for the card and he agreed to purchase it but I had to make sure and I was hoping I was wrong about the card being trimmed but it appears that I'm not.
I'm glad I found out before I packed up the cards,I never want anyone to purchased anything damaged from me unless I noticed them upfront.

What a messed up hobby this is turning into. Makes it very difficult to trust anything high end unless you pulled it or know who did

I would just file a claim against the seller. For that kind of money thats absolutely ridiculous not to mention the card is pretty much worthless

No reason other then being trimmed or should we say hacked. Lot missing on that card!

Gee someone on this site doing something shady and not mentioning damage to a card and selling it like that any way. What a shock. Haiku, with everything you do for people on this site I gotta say that is beyond messed up for someone on here to do to you. Just my opinion. But its just how this place operates. Some of the people on here would steal the gold fillings out of thier grandmothers mouth if they could pocket a few bucks from it. Then they would sell the gold on here, wait 4 weeks to ship, not respond to pms or provide a tracking# and then drop a negative on you if you complain. And nothing would be done about it. In case anyone has not noticed, this place is seeing less and less of it good honest members lately. Damn shame. This place used to be a great venue to make deals. Now all you are hoping for is to not get robbed when you make deals.

I think I owned that card about 3 years ago or so. It was graded a BGS 8.5. I will do some digging and see if I can find a scan of it when it was mine.

I once owned this card. Bought it for like $1,525 in in an off ebay deal. Card came and had major flaws - dinged lower right I believe plus edge marks on back. I sold it to Idol (aka rookiesonly99). I know that he then had it slabbed "authentic" by BGS and was selling it on ebay as BGS. So whoever bought it from him then busted it out of the case and/or possibly altered it. Here are my pics:

Haiku - check the back of the card on the top. Does it have the three indentations along the top that it did when I had the card? If not, I bet that's why it was trimmed...

It does have very small indentations and it appears as it was very visible prior to trimming.

That's unfortunate. Sorry you got the short end of the stick bud . No one deserves a shady deal. Especially not you.
