Great, another SEC team in the Championship.

I really hope Notre Dame wins next week, otherwise we're getting another all-SEC final.

Oregon just lost to Stanford...does that not make them overrated?

as i posted elsewhere..again..not possible.

Only 1 SEC team has a shot and thats the SEC title game winner (Bama/UGA)...and im leaning towards Bama.

UF/LSU/USC/Texas AM have NO SHOT at the SEC title game and will not jump over these 2 teams...

this has clusterf**k ending written ALL OVER IT

I love how people are upset that the SEC will have a team in the NC. Why does it bother you so much? If they're the best, they deserve it.

i dont understand why everyone is jumping at the bit here...

Alabama was #1..lost to #15 AM..and only dropped to 3rd

why does everyone think Oregon losing to #13 Stanford wont have the same effect?

LSU/FLA/AM/USC have nothing left to play for...just finish out the season and wait for the bowls...

Oregon still has to LOSE next week to not play UCLA in the Pac 12 Championship...

the team hurting the most is K St..as they lost to a non ranked (in any poll), 5 loss Baylor team...and have no conference championship game to even attempt to play in

Timing of the loss.

Tomorrow:
1 ND
2 Bama
3 UGA
4 UF
5 USC
6 LSU
7 KSU
8 Oregon
9 FSU
10 Clemson

USC beat ND, dropping them because of the timing of the loss
Bama beats Auburn (wish they didn't) and UGA
FSU beats UF (I'm biased, but I believe I'm right)
Clemson beats USC (mixed. I was born in Columbia while my dad was at USC)

Due to the timing, LSU will move up to 2 with Bama at 1.

If Georgia loses to Alabama though, they would drop behind Florida. If Notre Dame loses, Florida makes it IMO. Oregon and K-State are going to drop behind all the SEC 1-loss teams, and K-State could drop out of the Top 10.
Now that I think about it, if ND loses, if FSU beats Florida, they have a shot, as does South Carolina.

again did you even see my reasoning...or just being biased in some way?

Bama had the SAME thing happen last week that just happened to Oregon...

they lost to a #15 BCS team in AM (convincingly i might add)...and oregon just lost to the #13 BCS team, IN OT...

and you hve them dropping all the way to #8..your nuts

especially seeing as how you have KSU still ahead of them that lost to a damn 5-5 team and ranked NOWHERE

There's no way Oregon drops below K State. 52-24 loss to an unranked opponent should push KSU out of the top 10.

AGAIN...

those SEC teams have NOTHING to play for...

Oregon WINS (not saying they will, just say if) next week..they get 1 more game against UCLA (who just beat USC and is highly ranked mind you)...so they have the opportunity to gain even more and stay ahead...

Bama plays a tougher schedule, so that point is moot.

I agree with this fully.

However, we all know BCS is completely anti-logic. Bama will get the 'human' element advantage over Oregon everytime if the computers have it close. That's just the shittyness of the entire system.

Oregon is going to be behind those SEC teams though. That's the point. They aren't going to jump ahead of them. I don't see Oregon being ahead of any of those teams, maybe South Carolina. It would be nuts to put them ahead of Florida or Georgia though.

so...you dont see the chance...that Oregon beats a ranked (Or St) team next week...

and while those SEC teams sit idle (besides Bama/UGA)..and BEATS a ranked (UCLA) team in the Pac 12 championship game...

they dont have a chance to jump over the idle teams and improve their standing?

thats..odd logic
