I hate this argument, it's ridiculous. They were not ineligible at the time so they played. Did you want them to sit the players just because they might have been deemed ineligible for the game later?

They got in trouble for getting free tattoos (and probably other valuables) in exchange for autographed memorabilia. Yes, it's against the rules. Yes, we're getting punished for it. But those tattoos did not make Pryor, Herron, and Posey any better on the field. We beat Arkansas fair and square and no NCAA sanctions can rewrite history. That's like saying that Reggie Bush wouldn't have won the Heisman if his family wasn't rolling in the dough from people.
