Default The new BCS Standings!!!

They just posted

1. ND
2. Bama
3. Georgia
4. FLORIDA
5. Oregon

Truthfully That's all that matters....

Wow I didn't think the Ducks would fall behind the Gators

Now these last few games do actually matter

ND wins vs USC and its ND vs Bama or Gerogia

ND loses and then it can get crazy again

Flordia has to still beat FSU but would that be enough to hold on while the Ducks play 1 more game???

SEC love fest at its finest! It's not like Oregon lost to an unranked team like Kansas State. They lost to #12 Stanford. I don't think they should have fallen behind Georgia AND Florida.

it Should be Oregon at 4 and Florida at 5, honestly don't know how Florida State is still at 10 though...

Oregon should be 4, simply put. I hope ND loses just to see the mess.

I don't understand why 'Bama even plays games...whether they win or not, the voters are gonna put them in the National Championship.

Doesn't really matter what the numbers are the winner of the SEC championship game is going to end playing ND in the championship..and the SEC champ most likely Alabama will destroy overrated ND

The computer rating kills FSU. If they even had an average rating they would jump to 3 or 4 in the BCS ratings.

FSU 41
UF 17

yeah that sucks for us as Duck fans. But I was crossing my fingers we slid no further than 4 or 5. oregon still has a slight chance to get in if.......SC beats ND (dont really see that happening after seeing them fold agains UCLA) Stanford loses to UCLA (dont see that happening either) so that Oregon can get to the PAC12 Championship (if Oregon beats OSU, which I feel they will) then Oregon beats UCLA in PAC 12 Championship.
All those things HAVE to happen for the ducks to have a chance to get back in. Unless Florida and Gerogia both lose then maybe.
I was really hopin SEC would not make a case this year but here we go again. And its our own faults. K St defense kinda sucks and Stanfords Defense Rocks.
Bein a little biased here but other than ND moving to the top as unbeaten, seems like Bama and Oregon would have and maybe should have retained the next two spots seeing how everyone felt they were the best two all year so far. Now that oregon and bama both have one loss they should be 2 and 3 still as Oregon barely lost to a good ranked team in OT, Bama lost to a higher lower ranked team pretty good. How did florida and georgia lose theres?

And didnt FSU lose to someone they shouldnt have pretty bad?

why exactly does FSU DESERVE better rankings in the computer polls?

their schedule has been as soft if not softer than Oregon...

who have they beat exactly?

Clemson...thats about it...

you wanna talk about the creampuffs the SEC plays...how bout the almighty Murray St, Savannah St and South Florida that FSU played?

not to mention the conference powerhouses of Duke, BC and Wake Forest

your right..clearly they deserve more respect than they get

For Oregon to make it, USC has to beat ND and FSU has to beat Florida. If Florida beats FSU and ND loses, Florida will play in the NC without playing a conference championship.

I don't think they should be behind 2 loss teams.

I guess its a simple as "win and ur in"...I dont see ND beating USC, but if Barkley doesnt play, then I think ND has the advantage...But everybody keeps saying ND is overrated, but all they keep doing is.........WINNING....You know what they say...."SILENCE IS GOLDEN"

I guess 2012 might indeed be "The luck of the Irish"..

Just curious why you don't think ND can beat USC? They aren't good.

Wow so Oregon needs 2 PAC12 teams besides themselves to have a chance lol

USC and UCLA need to win this week to give them 1 more game

Florida could sneak in if Stanford, Florida, and USC all win this week!!!

So in other words, Oregon is boned.

In other news, congrats to Jim Mora for making UCLA relevant again.

while true in theory...

LSU's 2 losses have come against highly ranked teams and has also beaten 3 ranked teams (AM, Miss St, SC)

FSU meanwhile has only beaten Clemson...while it only has 1 loss, it came to a now 5 loss NC St team

I can see why LSU gets more "respect" in that aspect.

One thing that did get my attention though..while looking at FSU computer rankings...i doesnt even have them ranked period (KM has a 0)...the only other teams to have such a rating is Boise St, Louisville and Kent St.

Im not saying they deserve as low as they are...but i dont think they are getting the shaft either...

even if they got an average rating of around 10th...itd still put them in 7th/8th...so not much to gain regardless

Agreed. Offenses struggle against Notre Dame for a reason. There are playmakers on both sides of the ball. Their only glaring weakness is that Golson is often inconsistent. But he's mobile, and the o-line is strong enough to give him time in the pocket, and a run game to support him

Plus now that Barkley is out, I don't think there's a chance ND loses this weekend

FSU doesn't deserve crap, move to a relevant conference then you might get some pity.

does anybody see the possible "screwjob" that UCLA could pull off?

play Stanford this week and get a gauge on them..and possibly lose on purpose (not in a way that looks blatantly obvious) cuz they would rather play them again for the championship...instead of Oregon...and effectively screwing Oregon out of any chance they still had left at a NT game?

Oh, that would play well in the LA Media. Sandbagging, regardless how tactical it is, is quite dirty.
