I have a stupid question about BGS grading
I always see people posting that a card is a pop 1. What does that mean?

It's the only card with that grade. So if a card is numbered to 99, but it's the only one graded a 9.5, it's a pop 1. If there are 3 of those 99 graded a 9.5, it's a pop 3. Same goes for any card, with any grade.

I'm pretty sure it means according to the BGS Population Report, there has only been 1 of that card graded that particular grade.
