We're just looking to add a big threat for the redone. He won't play much IMO.

Hmmm.... They would be better off signing Chad Johnson or T.O. IMO.

Really?? Just based on name I take it?

He had 45 rec 612 yrds and 8tds with shatchez last year. Please advise what the other 2 have done lately He is suppose to be in great shape. So why not give him a look.

Ocho has hard time learning new playbooks and TO is washed.

He will be a 4th receiver(Haleys offense never calls for 5 wr's) with a couple red zone plays for him. Cotchery is hurt and they just want an insurance policy for the playoffs. This is just short term and I think he will be nice to have for the rest of the year

Lets just say, they are not rural white males.

Steelers just signed Plaxico and will sign either Brian Hoyer or Mike Kafka as well today.

I can think of guys a lot worse than Plaxico for the Steelers to sign.

You can't attach the Cheddar Bob incident to him when it comes to football. On the field, he's straight business and pretty productive. Off the field, he just has (or at least had) no common sense. It's not like he has a history of being a distraction or cancer to the team.

Look at his track record on the field, not his lone off field mistake. The guy has good hands, good ball security, stretches the field, and is tall enough to pet a giraffe's head.

Filling in at the #3 and then eventually #4 receiver, he's a great option. He's supposedly in top physical condition, so he's been taking care of himself. He's a big guy, he gives forth a strong effort every snap, and people in Pittsburgh loved him and will be quick to do so again.

Now I need to go wash my mouth out with soap for speaking positively on something Steelers related. Blech.
