Default Value estimate for a 2012 Vet Super

I am close to finishing the 2012 Chrome rainbow for DeMarcus Ware and the super is currently on Ebay for $900 I realize that a card is worth to you, whatever you want it to be. That being said, if I was to make a reasonable offer on this card at some point, what would be least offensive to you, if you were the one selling it?

Seeing how its not autographed, I would think if you offered $500 for it, he would take it.

Well seeing as I am not a money grubbing whore....I sold a superfractor of Stephen Jackson to a collector here for a LOT less.

I know it's Dallas but still it shoudn't be more than a $200 card IMO.

I would think that you could get it for much less. It just depends on the seller. The Clay Matthews went for $162 I would probably start at an offer around $200 and go from there. It just depends on what the value the seller truly has it valued at. Being a super, many people overestimate the value of them.

I was thinking $150 at the most. He is a vet,not auto'ed, and he is a defensive player. Position to me is a huge price factor, look at rookie prices. No body expects any defensive player to gdt the value of an offensive playmaker position.

Just my opinion!

Luckily, I am not a dumb Cowboy fan. Jaded perhaps, but not dumb.

In any case, I may just make a $150 offer on it and call it a day. That is really the best I can offer at this point anyway. I appreciate the input from everyone.

Update: Auto declined the offer of $150. Oh well. Worth a try I guess.

First ask yourself what you would be comfortable paying.

One thing that I have noticed about many BO auctions that I have purchased have been 33% asking as a starting point for negotiations was always reasonable.

If it's a card "I can't live without" I will may budge up.

The Ware IMO is a $250 card max.

I would offer $200 as a starting point.

Seller has it listed for $900 and auto declined a offer of 150, but you think 200 will work?

I say either message the seller and hope to talk some sense into him, or cut your losses

when you have something listed that high, you aren't gonna drop that low. i bet the lowest he would accept is $300-$350

Ware should not sell more than Clay.

I based my offer off some of the other Vet supers that have already sold. Andre Johnson went for $125. Clay Matthews for about the same. Romo $225. Polamalu $100.

If it goes for over $200, I would be surprised.

I want the Ray Rice but the seller wants $350.

Good luck with that.

I paid $150 for my MJD and I probably paid more then it was worth but I wanted it. You just need to figure out how much you want the card, set a limit, and if it doesn't work out then move on. Good luck trying to obatin it!

As a one-time Ware collector, I wouldn't pay more than $125-150 for it.

Anything over $200 is overpaying, if you are overpaying though might as well overpay for the best 1/1 in the hobby (IMO)

This is the blessing/curse of the Superfractor. There's only 1 of it and so the seller can basically hold it hostage.

I can't blame him in a way. There are a lot of Cowboys fans who would pay $200 or $250 for it......but why not hold out for the 1 person willing to pay $600 for it?

I paid $365 for my DeMarco and did not regret it for one second. if you are building all Ware rainbows, I have the 2009 TC super. Would only move it for a comparable DeMarco 1/1 though
