Default Brett Favre Does it Again!

I'm not his biggest fan, but that game-winning drive was pretty impressive...

As a 49ers fan, that winning drive stung badly

Well I'm a biggest niners fan around, but we had our chances to seal the deal on them & let'em hang around and let the future hall of famer beat us. My hats off to Brett. Great game thou. Very pleased with what I see out of my niners. 3-0 would have been sweet thou.

Yeah...with Gore out, and facing one of the best defenses in the league, you should be happy with the performance.

I think Coffee played well in his place. This sounds weird, but not sure Gore would have made any bigger impact than Gore would have. I like our team this year. I'm hoping Seattle & Arizona both lose today. Seattle winning right now thou.

I certainly didn't expect that, but as a Vikes fan I am pretty excited.

Favre, Harvin, and Lewis made it a great day to be a Vikings fan.

That was absolutely the WORST possible ending to see as a Niner fan!

we had that game in the bad, ready for 3-0, and then stupid old "shoulda-retired" favre throws the TD pass. That stung. . .

But after seeing the Niner's first 3 games, I think they are gonna make the playoffs!

Sounds as if he "shouldn't have" retired.

I for one am rooting for Favre to go all the way, and I am not a Vikings fan. I never have been, but I'll be hoping they win a lot of games and make the playoffs this year. I'd like to see the Vikings lose to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but since that's not going to happen, I hope the Vikings win that big game. Then we can see if Favre will be coming back. LOL

I think he proved that he still has an arm and gas left in the tank! How many young QBs do you see running 30-40 yards down field to block someone like Patrick Willis?! Not very many! GO VIKES!!!

Easy to do that against the Browns and Lions, we'll see how he does in the next five weeks. He sees the Packers twice, the Ravens and the Steelers...(With the Rams mixed in there)

This is exactly what Favre did last year. He starts out great, and now everyone thinks he is back. That they are now going all the way. Just watch. favre will crash and burn just like last year..

Um, he got hurt last year, and they made him play... That won't happen again this year...

hes already hurt a little right now. and even with out the injury, stats show that for the past 4 or 5 years, farve has faded out at the end of the year

There's something you're not seeing, though. Those seasons were different, and Favre never had as good of a supporting cast as he does now. The Vikings are not asking him to throw till his arm falls off, and rumor has it that they're even counting his throws, specifically to prevent him from fading and to keep him strong well into the playoffs. He was hired to be a game manager, not to throw his ass off. It will be different this year.

Brett Favre did nothing amazing until this week, and the schedule actually gets tough now as opposed to those two junk games in Weeks 1 and 2.
