Yes forgot about the 2nd. He is a decent back don't get me wrong just think mccoy Is in somewhat in a "slump" and he is hurt. Once mccoy gets back in his groove he will beat out brown.

Mccoy's had two seasons of 1600 total yards, what so special about him? And in the fact that once a back gets hurt, they tend to keep getting hurt, I'd ship him off if anyone came knocking.
I'd take a second rounder if it would free up the cap space in a heart beat.

He's referencing your comment about what McCoy has done the past two seasons.

Thanks for the clarification. He had over 1000 yards in both 2010 and 2011 seasons and last year he broke the eagles TD record.

Is this thread really about trading McCoy? Come on now people, this isn't Madden.

WHAT HAS MCCOY DONE THIS YEAR?

That is the question and he's been AVERAGE at best.

Yes he has been average, I will agree with you on that. Just think he will bounce back next year.

He hasn't been average. He's one of the best RBs in the NFL. He's racked up 1,000 all-purpose yards this year even with missing several games.

He is not real until he starts holding on to the football.

Just an awful turnover there

Correct me if im wrong but he has played in all but 2 games! I like him, but not one of the best this year, sorry.

You're right. He's missed two games, and Reid gives him less than 15 carries a game for some mysterious reason. In his 15 carries, he racks up 100 yards usually.

Sure, he's not getting in the endzone, but it because of Reid's underutilization of him...

Mathews is a bigger disappointment in fantasy than lesean!!

back on the topic, I think Bryce has a great shot at a starting job in the NFL. really enjoyed watching him run tonight. he's still learning and adjusting so im sure the fumbles will be cut down in time

Agreed. Hopefully he can find someway to minimize his fumbles and a way to maximize his talent...whether it be in Philly or another place, I really want to see this guy play.

Yes, Bryce Brown is the real deal. I'm not worried too much about the fumbling problems...he'll improve with practice and workload.

Also, the premise of this thread is laughable and is a fine example of why I don't do my Eagles discussion on the BO boards. Shady is going nowhere.

Haha I'm really disappointed in him this year. I don't think he's doing "badly", but I definitely think he has taken quite a big fall after last year's performance.

But I'd have to agree. Bryce can fix the fumbling problem (give him the offseason, and it will be easy), and he has the potential to be an elite RB.

Andy Reid has a good offensive scheme and turns out a lot of good running backs. Brian Westbrook was pretty damn good before McCoy came along, and Duce Staley was made to be pretty good even though he was garbage.

All of these guys are overrated. Fact of the NFL is that you're only as good as the system you are in. Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson in KC are the perfect examples.

If the Eagles could get a 1st rounder for McCoy they should do it in a heartbeat.
