Haiku was good at what he does...this wasnt the first scam he did.

1. This contest was a way of buttering people up and earning their trust...and o believe the OP bought a huge lot off him. Fill in the blanks, haiku turned a pair of beats into $1000+.

2. OP joined here in 2009. I really doubt haiku would have taken 3 years to set up a 20k scam.

Someone posted a link in member feedback section. It detailed a scam like this, but on a different forum. Ironically, the name of the guy was james morgan. Haiku's "name" was jay morgan.

Haiku isn't able to do a scam like this if he wasn't well versed in the hobby

I've made my feelings towards saketm92 well known in the other thread, but his join date means nothing

This isn't me bashing him like the other posts of mine, just arguing against the one I quoted, but haiku was clearly already into this hobby IMO before all these scams, he probably has a legit account in here as well

That's already been addressed in another thread. It was a lie, which Haiku had OP say.

Actually, I was the one who brought that up, and yes he did say they were family friends

He then said Haiku asked him to start a thread thanking him to make him look good (HUGE RED FLAG)

But I have since asked saketm MULTIPLE TIMES to then explain why he said they were family friends, and he has yet to respond to any of those requests.

It's one thing to make the thread because he asked, but he has yet to say Haiku asked him to mention that they were family friends, and he has also yet to say why he did say they were family friends

And at this point, it's too late to respond to that anyways as if he does respond, it will be because of this post, so why believe it at this point anyways

I did say I was "Family freinds" with Haiku, but it was NOT the truth. I trusted him so much that he leveraged me into creating threads about him. It is just how he pestered some people in making maildays for free cards they got. Yes, I was an idiot for letting it happen, but did not make any light of it. Once again, the debacle started in his holiday lots which were 2 weeks ago I believe. I have ZERO knowledge of his intentions. He talked about helping me out with school and stuff, so I felt like he was not lying. If I had any info. of his ACTUAL plan of scamming people, I would have immediately sent it to the mods.

One day he told me to send him a dollar because he was going to send me something. I did, and a few days later I got the beats in the mail along with a note saying "You have been selected to win the christmas beats contest."

If you have further questions, feel free to PM me, and I can explain it. I was young, naiive, stupid, and taken advantage of, but I guess I have to deal with the repercussions.

I thought I addressed this, but I said we were "family" "friends" because I was brought into his persona, and truly trusted him. He led me on like the other kid said in a thread about having his back, helping him out, etc. It was 100% my mistake, and I should have realized this. I was not in on any scams or anything. I just did this because I did not think much of it, and he seemed like a trustworthy and nice person, which I am clearly wrong about.

Feel free to PM or call me and I can explain it better. As I have said multiple time, I have nothing to hide.

Saket is not a scammer. Saket was just one of the many people who was fooled by ths scammer. I know Saket personally and he would never scam anyone. The only scammer is HAIKU!
