Default You have got to be kidding me...

Aaron Rodgers Fake Auto Thread - NEED HELP!

I have been railing against these cards for a while. They are not real, but yet, JSA seemed to fall for it. To be fair to them, they did say it wasn't UD authentic... there have been fakes of this card all over the place with that exact autograph. Rodgers autograph, although simple, isn't consistent. If you have seen these cards, the autos all look the same.

Nice work JSA...

I understand hwy I would be mad. But whats the issue with JSA. no where do they support or back the Auto, they simply grade the card 9.5 and say auto not issued by UD. I see nothing wrong. I mean I wish they wouldnt grade fakes, but no where do they say its a legit auto.

I thought JSA is the autograph certification company. Is that not true? Doesn't the inclusion of their logo and certification number on the label mean they stand by the autograph as authentic?

JSA grades autos. If you get something graded by BGS with an auto not put on by a mfg (UD, Panini, etc), it has to go to JSA. They also put a certificate number on the card. They authenticated the auto.

BGS forces you to send older Topps Rookie Premiere cards to JSA before they will slab a card, for example.

Not surprising, as long as they get paid, they'll put their name on anything!

Seriously, WTF is that...

So it's a gem mint auto that wasn't issued by UD and is on a UD card... so that makes it what? A well written fake auto? Why the hell would JSA have anything to do with that card? Jeezuz.

Wow that auto is horrible. I am not a 'professional' grader like these guys are, or claim to be, and I can tell that thing is fake. Pathetic JSA

JSA and Beckett together on a business venture has incompetent written all over it. These people claim to be setting the bar in this hobby. It almost seems like they literally have no clue as to what they are talking about.Or is that just my imagination?

this must be an auto only grade? where are the sub grades? if you put a sticker on there, legit or otherwise, then you will get hammered on the surface grade...so this has got to be just a graded auto thats slabbed and not a card grade.

either way JSA and BGS should both be slapped for doing this.

Not if Beckett has been consigned to sell it. If so its an automatic 9.5 across the board and the auto is authenticated as well. I would never, ever buy a card from a Beckett auction that Beckett themselves graded. If people cannot see thru that scam they are blind beyond blind.

That is just sad. They should be ashamed of themselves. I guess they don't care as long as they get paid.

It's not a Beckett auction. It's being sold by meatloaf!!
