Except that throwing for nearly 5,000 yds is going to be the new norm. The game is tailored now to quarterbacks and receivers. Stats never tell the true story IMO, but of course a lot of arguments are built around them. Luck will be good, no debating that, but throwing for nearly five thousand yards is going to be more and more common.

Does the League Leading 17ints count as him being the GOAT?
8-4 record so far is impressive but you do know that Wilson is 7-5 as well in a tougher division.

If the IRS would tax this sale, how much would the tax be?

Rhetorical question?

He has to claim it on his taxes so the IRS will be getting their share.

Yes paypal reports after $20000 but he still is supposed to report any income he receives from the sale of the card. That's the sellers responsibility to file his report honestly.

As far as the tax code, I honestly have no idea. I am not fully versed in all of that technical jibber jabber.

Depends on the tax bracket the OP falls into. This could very well send him into a new one (ouch), but it's not a flat tax.

Supply/Demand

Plus (not towards you) I laugh when people think prices should drop when 4 of the top cards out of thousands are pulled. The chances of pulling one of these 4 cards is once in a lifetime. No one buys products thinking they REALLY will pull a HUGE card. There are still other amazing cards that are pulled 1 in every 4 boxes. (amazing being getting the box price).

Still one of the most popular box breaks in town, especially for football. This rookie class is proving to be very deep, and all of the color variations are still widely being hunted.

Anyone can tell you it is a $20,000 card, but you now have $11,000 before taxes and that is all that matters! Congrats on the sale and enjoy the money!

Yeah, tough to turn down 11k for a little picture of a man with his signature on it, no matter how pretty it is...
