Default My Andrew Luck Superfractor AUTO 1/1 Question

I had the card listed on ebay for 25k, got a good amount of offers, the most of which is a 5 figure offer from 3 different individuals. I just lowered the buy it now price to 17k thinking that maybe my original offer scared some people away? I would really like to get 14k-15k for the card and I think if the colts make the playoffs, I can definately get that amount. Colts play the Titans this week at home and if they win would be 9-4, 10 wins will pretty much guarantee the playoffs. Is it worth the risk of waiting? Personally, i love knowing that I have that card and am in no real hurry to sell but my wife on the other hand, wants it gone. Thoughts?

I think you will be hard pressed to get that much. Personally I would consider anything that hit 5 figures, especially $12k or more.

If you have a 10K offer on a current card of a guy who can blow his knee tomorrow and you have not taken it already then I question your sanity.

it would be great if you could get 14-15k but realistically i would take 5-8k for it. i don't see it going up much more short of them winning the super bowl. with more products coming out and an economy that isn't the same as it was years ago, take what you can get from the big buyers and run. just my 2 cents.

This. I would not gamble 10k. You never know.

On a couple hundred dollar card sure, but not 10k.

This really didn't need another thread, bud. You couldve just bumped your old one. I still think that is probably high, as far as what you're asking for. I mean if someone was ready to pay that, they would have offered that already. I would grade it and hold into it personally. If you're getting five figures, though, I'd take that now if my wife was telling me to sell.

Hold it man, if Colts make the Playoffs I could see you getting 15K, worse case scenario is they don't, you could still get around 10K. Either way you'll come out ahead, don't over think it and ignore the wife on the subject.

I'd take anything in the 5 digits as well. I think you got exciting with razorsharp's posts, he has some of the best cards out there, but he over prices a lot of them (IMO, and many others). This isn't baseball (where supers have gone for $20K+). Plus 10K is a great profit, take the money and run. Who cares if someone resells it for $13K? Because Luck could also blow out his elbow tomorrow.

I think you should send a PM to Haiku on here

I know in the past he has said he wanted that card, so if you were to sell it through here and not ebay, you could save quite a bit in fees, which would allow you to come down on your price to begin with.

Then I think whatever he would be willing to give you, would be a pretty fair price, he's not one to lowball people

anything over 10K take any less pass on it . Luck has been amazing this yr. But don't try to over do it. I'd post up on all sorts of sites . You might get what you want or close with out all the ebay fees .

Fees are like $250 on eBay. So about 2.5%. Fees won't be an issue here. But I agree Haiku is a safe way as well.

Remember eBay caps fees on one item.

My opinion would be to hold out till the first week of playoffs. As it stands now the Colts would be playing Denver. That game would be hyped to epic proportions.

I'm honestly not for sure how much the playoff seeds will fluctuate from now until then, but as long as that game remains a possibility i would hold onto it.

Either way you are going to get a pretty penny for it.

ahhhhh, I've never had anything that crazy high end, didn't realize they cap fees at a point.

But like you guys said, Haiku isn't a guy you need to worry about getting screwed over on either, which should be a huge worry when selling a card like this to some random guy on ebay

How much???? I'd take 10k for that card knowing that I spent 1200 on a case or even 90 for the box to get it.
