The Panini America Quality Control Gallery: 2012 Absolute Football (96 Must-See Pics)December 4, 2012 at 5:30 PM
One week from tomorrow, Panini America’s 2012 Absolute Football hits hobby shops everywhere equipped with some new-looks inserts, a tried-and-true content formula, a breathtaking crop of rookies and, as a result, a sense of heightened expectations. Last weekend, we shared a small glimpse at the product through a table-setting sneak peek from Absolute’s recently completed QC process.
Today, though, we’re pulling the curtain all the way back on the hit-per-pack juggernaut with 96 new images, including a must-see assortment of base cards, parallels, inserts, autographs and memorabilia. It’s all here — the superstar newcomers, the game’s greatest legends and the best veterans of today — for your viewing pleasure.

We’ll have plenty more on 2012 Absolute Football right here on The Knight’s Lance in the coming days. But for now, sit back, relax and take your sweet time with this all-you-care-to-view, eye-candy buffet.

I really don't understand why people spend money on anything other than Exquisite, SPA, NT, Contenders, and Chrome. All of these products look the same with crappy sticker autos and event-worn patches. Woohoo....

I hate Panini now. But I actually think this is one of the better looking products they have released this year

+1. This and and Gridiron were a million times better looking last year.

I think Absolute looks nice this year, compared to what other products they've put out so far.

Stop with putting the f'n windows over the patches

That Lamar Miller would look 100X nicer without the "26" over it

Assuming Bernard Pierce is a redemption, yet again, I'm not busting any of this.

Why do they feel the need to keep adding these mirrored finishes to their cards?

LOVE:

The tools of the trade cards - ALL OF THEM. They look amazing.
The Strahan auto
The scrub rookie autos
the veteran base autos

HATE

Everything else. The RPMs are about as hideous as they ever have been.

Because Panini has a stake in the rainbow foil board stock manufacturer. I mean, they use enough of it that they should.

Just like with the Crown silhouettes, they took a nice sharp, simple, clean looking card and added unnecessary features and finishes to them, just makes them look worse

It makes it ten times harder for the patch to be switched out which is a good thing!

I like to imagine that they bought a bunch of machines that do this stuff and the executives are forcing the designers to use it on every card possible to make the investment worth it.

I think Panini getting the major licenses may have been the best thing to ever happen to me. Ive saved so much money since UD and Topps aren't able to produce anything its great. Nothing worth the price tag.

This. I haven't bought any basketball wax in a long time because Panini has ruined it for me. Worst company ever.

What I most enjoy about this is going to the panini site and seeing all the same people commenting who are suckin on the panini teet. I was going to say something else but I think it wouldnt have been appropiate lmfao. It would be interesting to know though how many comments people post that panini deletes before it ever hits the page

Yep, panini bkb is a complete joke. Only sport they have a license in so they have free range to put the most garbo out there. Good for me that I dont collect bkb lol

I will admit that the RPMs are not as appealing, but I think most of the rest of it looks pretty sharp.

The comments they post aren't even how real people talk. It's funny how they have multiple people raving about every product using major hyperbole on their blog but then you come on here, a major card forum with many informed users, and the best they can muster for every product is a few people saying they look good and/or trying to defend them.

Where are the "OMG SUPER SICK MOJOZZZ!!!!" people on this forum?
