Default NPB Alert: jaypatswon12

Not sure if it's a member here or not.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/230886461367...84.m1562.l2649

He won my auction 7 days ago. I sent a message on the 4th day asking him for payment or to make payment arrangements. Opened a case after no response. He's paid for and received feedback for another item since.

I haven't really sold much on ebay before, so I have a question for a few vets out there:

I have someone else who wants to buy the card, so where do I go from here? Can I close the case and sell to the other person? Or will he still have a chance to pay and ding with me negative feedback for selling to someone else?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
James

I would not move the card until the case is closed, after you open case he still has 4 days to pay...if he does not pay case automatically closes and he gets dinged, but you are off the hook. You sell card now to 2nd buyer and he pays you are screwed....

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Thanks Timmy!

I don't believe this is accurate. I've had times before where I opened a case on a guy for not paying, and he contacted me and said that he would send payment, but it'd be after the 4 days since I opened the case. I said that was fine but left the case open until he paid. He did pay, about a week after I'd opened the case. It didn't automatically close after 4 days. The seller has to actually go and close the case, but you cannot do it sooner than 4 days after opening it.

Using Unpaid Item Assistant

this is what i use, ebay opens case on my behalf and closes case, believe it is 4 days to open and 4 days to pay or case closes on him...once case is opened he cannot leave feedback until he pays, if he does not pay he cannot leave feedback at all is my understanding, again i could be wrong...as its been a while since i went thru that process

God Bless you sir for not being a moron.

You pay Ebay fees and you don't take advantage of the tools they offer. This is silly.

I have had 2 NPB since I started using this.
