Typical Chargers bad luck, a year we actually suck enough to get a high pick the guy we really need is going number one to a division rival. Oh and how about we let Te'o go the AFC West as well so he can harass Rivers.

yeah I noticed after I posted. my fault.

This was the first I had seen (thanks to the HuffPo android app I use) so I figured I'd share.

the class looks good for fillers, but weak on stars.

This makes no sense if there's not a QB worth taking.

An OL? Hell no. Something we aren't in desperate need of. We are constantly taking other teams garbage as our QB. Geno Smith has an NFL arm, trade down a little and take him. It does make sense. Your team probably has had their own QB they drafted. KC hasn't taken a QB in first since Blackledge. It doesn't matter if their isn't a "#1 pick worthy QB" they HAVE to take a chance. All chiefs fan will have their heads if they don't.

problem with trading down in this draft class is that other teams aren't all that anxious to move up, so you are going to get less for your pick this year than you would last year or two.

Doesn't matter. Take Geno #1. Weeks ago I wouldn't have said this. They absolutely need a first round QB. Many teams will be looking for QBs and taking reaches. They HAVE to.

5. Carolina: Star Lotulelei, DT Utah
With Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy the Panthers have quality outside pass rushers, but their interior defensive line is a mess and Lotulelei can be an immediate impact starter.

I like this ^^^
Panthers have been needing a DT for years. Would be a great pickup.

Also like seeing that UVA OT in the first round

Obviously it's early, but it's still fun to discuss. Just about everyone has Geno Smith going #1 to KC. As of right now, looks like my Lions will have a chance to get a good defensive prospect (Moore, Te'o, etc).

the Giants will go with O-Line or D-Backs if they have any sense...drafting a TE would make no sense.

We will but don't be surprised if its in the second round. If the first few elite DT's are gone when we pick, we could wait as theres not much drop off in talent.

agreed although a cb or safety wouldn't be bad either

after watching several wvu games this year I find it hard to believe geno smith gets. taken #1 overall. ppersonally I think e.j. manuel or tahj boyd are just as good if not better. but there are better options than smith at qb imo . wvu played in the big 12 and big 12 teams don't play defense. not many big 12 qbs suceed in the league. bradford is the only one starting i can think of right off. idk I guess I just don't see the potential in geno smith.

its like at the beginning of the year kiper had Logan thomas as a top 5 pick. what a joke that was. sometimes I wonder if these guys actually watch film or just look at the players size and just rank as "potential"

the only thing I heard from blacksburg for a year was how logan thomas is the next cam newton just bc of his size. lol it was ridiculous. that finally quieted down when l.thomas starting showing his "potential"

The 2013 draft is supposed to be full of quality DT's so the Panthers and others needing DT's can maybe wait untill the second round o select one.
