Cool patches, but not a fan of cards that don't show a picture of the athlete

Everyone has their preferences.

Pictures are better than no pictures, but large, authentic, "game-used" patch pieces are better than event-worn or otherwise. I can download pictures of any athlete I want at any time. The same can't be said for memorabilia like this, especially the vintage kind.

If I had to choose pictures OR authentic memorabilia, pictures aren't as important to me. I understand how important it is to others though, and I respect that.

Not familiar with sportskings, but if those patches are real, those are awesome. The George and Aikman logos looks suspect though

I would agree with this most of the time BUT I think it's ok when it's a Jumbo Patch that takes up the whole card

These are sick Man

Do tell.

These are guaranteed authentic, game-used patch pieces. If there are any suspicions, let's get them out in the open. I don't want to claim anything is real if it's not.

Thanks!

Not rich.

Fortunately for me and my collection, not that many people know about these cards yet making them fairly easy to acquire.

The dark blue material on both the George and the Aikman star just do not look right compared to other logo patches I have seen before, especially from the Titans

Any links or pictures to better illustrate your point?

For the Aikman

star patch is not big enough

2012 Panini Jake Locker Jumbo Logo Patch Titans Black Friday Huskies | eBay

Different material in the middle. However in this case, it could be because of a jersey update. I am not saying they are not real, just that they did not look right. All of the other ones looked good to me

I don't know. This one looks like just the right size:

You are correct, you cannot compare a Jake Locker jersey patch with an Eddie George jersey patch. I've seen several Geoge patches that look just like the one above.

Right.

I wasn't exactly sure what he was asking. I thought maybe he wanted to know what part of the jersey the patch came from. It was the first close up I found on the internet.
