MNF Thread - Texans @ New England

Lets get this started early! Arguably one of the biggest games of the whole season, this one should really be fun to watch!

A lot of folks have been saying that with as much passing yardage as we gave up against Jacksonville and Detroit that Brady is going to carve us up. But those two games Houston didn't have Jonathan Joseph out there and he WILL be playing in this game so that huge hole in our secondary just got zipped up, lol.

I think this is going to be a helluva game and will live up to the hype its been getting all week! The Pats are hungry for a win since a loss will drop them to the #4 seed and Houston wants to prove that they're legit as a new powerhouse team!

Let the predictions and trash talk begin!!!

Glad the game is this week lol since I have a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Still think Texans win.

you may get your wish. New England's defense is pretty weak against the pass. Ranked 29th I think? They may decide to do something similar to how they played against Jacksonville (where Schaub threw for 527 yds and 5 TD's). Screw the run game...light that secondary up!

and FWIW Jacksonville's pass D is ranked higher than New England's!

I've got Houston winning. I hear the Texans are treating this game as the biggest one in their franchise history...which is odd considering they had a play-off game last year...but...yeah.

Schaub will be just too much for the Pats' pathetic secondary...

As much as it pains me to say it, Pats win. Then the colts win out to reclaim the division.

I take the opposite, even though my hatred for the Patriots is well known to many chowder heads, I wouldn't be surprised if NE wins by 14 points, wouldn't be surprised at all.

Still I hope they lose to the Texans and 49ers and miss out on the first round bye and have to travel to DEN or HOU.

I am hoping weather is terrible

I was #1 seed in FF and got the #8 seed did not get anything for being a #1 seed such as a bye...I am up 24 points with Gostowski up against Schaub, Johnson, and Hernandez haha...hoping it is raining so hard they cannot see haha or i am toast...

LOL...I don't think its necessarily considered an insult. Its similar to calling a Packers fan a cheese head. Wisconsin is known for its cheese. For the patriots, "chowder head" is in reference to the famed New England Clam Chowder.

Texans are wildly overrated and will lose to the Pats. The Texans should have lost to the Lions lol they have no chance against a GOOD team. Look what the packers did to them as well. I say Patriots by 10+.

This is why this game is the biggest game for the Texans. No respect from outside fans of the game.

Check the stats and power ranking of every respectable outlet there is and come back here with a solid argument of how the Houston Texans are overrated this season.

I dont care if they beat the Jags by 3... or beat the Patriots by 50... 12-1 will still look the same
