Appreciate the interest but I feel a need to carry through with this exercise. However Charity is in first place after 40 votes. Appears to be a very caring group here.

But i feel that im talking you off the ledge here, so good luck with whatever you choose.

I feel like all I need to do is construct a histogram of the ROI distribution of these types of products, and then maybe people will stop buying them.

If it were Sanchez rookie year then I could understand abit more but a mid range QB card several years into his career is not really a "best of" card.
I feel your pain, trust me I've been there. But just because it says "Best" in the title thats not a guarantee of whats inside. If it worked that way I'd be pissed at Upper Deck for me pulling an Icky Woods & Reggie Rucker auto in their "Legends" product or that Ron Dugan auto I got in my box of Bowmans "Best". And dont get me started about that time I got no gold in "Gold" standard!

I vote sell it to the guy that wants to buy it so it goes to a proper home, you recoup some money and everyone is happier... if just a little.

I would be very interested in seeing that product. However, I believe that you'll find that these releases from Leaf produce a better ROI (based on advertised case price points) across the entire sample than the vast majority of other products from the major manufacturers although the Leaf products will typically have a far greater disparity in the concentrations of the value.

There are other products that I'd advise people to stay away from before the Leaf packaged releases.

I would laugh if one of the other cards in the case was the cam super auto, and I still think you made out better than most $200 wax boxes!!

Whoever voted "soak it in water for 24 hrs" you made me laugh. They're meant to protect cards even if they get submerged under water lol.

Fireman Ed would be interested in it. You can then donate proceeds to a fake charity since he is a fake fireman.

Really? My mistake. I could have sworn I read that he was not really a fireman.

Why would you think Leaf, the company that repacked, not made, this card would do anything for the auto running off the sticker? I mean if it was a Walter Payton 1/1 cut auto and the signature was cut off a little would you complain?

We all had bad breaks, thats the gamble, why all the drama? You knew the risk going in. And the out come was an autographed, limited print run starting QB jersey card and an autographed Hall of Famer card. Why go nuts over this? Disappointed? Sure, but throwing away whatever money you could make back on this break seems a little nutty to me.
Agreed. Imagine what he does to casinos?

I mean if there was money in selling singles all the time then manufacturers would just do that

Isn't he the OL that Sanchez ran into and fumbled against the Patriots?

Donate it to me. Jets are a PC team. Second choice is oven at 400 since it may cost more to ship than I would pay for it
