Marshall has had more yards than that in his last 4 I am fairly sure. He's had 325 or so in his last 2.

1. Megatron
2. BMarsh
3. AJ
4. Andre
5. Dez

He is no where near close to the top 5 in the NFL...he has played decent this season, but you cannot erase the first two years HE SUCKED

Um, what part of "Most Valuable WR's This Year" was unclear? Or did you get tripped up on the multi-syllabic V word?

Well year one he was out with injury so you have to cut him some slack. year 2 not to bad still had 9 td's and 980 yrds being the #2 and # 3 option.

I think people have unreasonable expectations. WR's do not come into their own for normally 3 years. Not everyone is super special. Still really young for coming out early. I do not thin he is top 5 but he is not to far out.

It looks like its a fractured index finger and the Cowboys should know within the next 2 days if he'll be able to play (ESPN Dallas and DallasCowboys.com).

Knowing Dez, he's going to get that thing taped up and go out there and ball against the Steelers.

Bryant: 1028 yds 9 TDs
Welker: 1064 yds 4tds
Thomas:1197 yds 8 TDs
Jackson: 1145 yds 8 tds
White: 1140 5 tds
Wayne 1220 4 TDs

Definetly can debate Bryant as as good or better than all of them or at least equal due to his 9 TDs

That's the feeling I am getting from dallascowboys.com. Unless its career threatening I think we'll see him at least try to play.

Worst that can happen is he breaks it further and heads to IR. They need him out there as a decoy at worst anyway. Force the depleted Steeler secondary to focus on him, Witten and Miles before they throw up their hands and just surrender.

Ike Taylor being balky is huge for the Cowboys.

By the time you get to the guys you listed, you are in very arguable territory when you compare them to Dez. All of the guys listed have some stats better than Dez, some not as good, etc. The reason I worded it as "Most Valuable" was that I think he has meant more to his team this year than the guys you listed. All those guys are really good but...

Wes & Demaryius both have all time greats throwing to them. Peyton & Brady have proven that they can make stars out of mediocre receivers so I scratch them off. Roddy has Julio across from him. VJ and Reggie I think are the two most arguable as "Most valuable" since I think they lift their teams up more than the other 3 guys on your list.

When the Cowboys have won this year, it seems like it's always Dez catching a very important TD pass. That was why I put him as my 5th most valuable WR this year.

Does anybody know yet if Bryant will play Sunday against the Steelers? Has it been announced yet?

Agreed. if he can do no further damage, let him play. if the cards fall right, Dallas still has a shot at the playoffs

I'd love to see them make the Playoffs but with all the injuries this season 9-7 or even 8-8 might be considered an accomplishment.

Dez will play...I am sure he plays with a lot of injuries so this wont be the first time.

Quote:
Dez Bryant, who fractured his left index finger Sunday against against the Bengals, has decided to play Sunday against the Steelers unless he's told he can't, a source close to the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver told ESPN Tuesday morning.
Quote:
"Unless the doctors say he medically can't do it, Dez is going to play," the source said.

There is significant swelling in Bryant's finger and he must understand that if he plays, the finger might be compromised for the remainder of his career in terms of flexibility -- a significant issue for a wide receiver, a league source told ESPN. Pain tolerance isn't the issue for Bryant.
