Question Will T.J. Yates ever get another shot in the NFL?
I have a small PC of him. I notice that there are hardly any rookie auto's on ebay for him. Will the Texans secure him as a long time back up, or will he be traded to a team in need of a QB? Just wondering if i should just keep what i got, or try to pick up more. Thanks in advance for any advice/tips offered!

Tough call. I think, and I believe the Texans, feel he is a solid #2 that will get a contract when his RC contract is up. They only have 2 QB's on the roster right now so I think he's a lock. Plus he has more playoff wins than Schaub does as a Texan lol

Qb's like him who have glimpses of success always get a chance later on it's just you never know how long that could be!

Thanks! I was kinda hoping the Texans would let him go, but seeing how he is there only postseason experience, they will probably keep him at backup till something happens to Schaub. I just think he could be a good QB if given a fair shot.

He will probably get his shot tonight after Vince Wilfork lands on Schaub and injures him.

His role on the Texans kinda reminds me of Sage Rosenfels...Good QB off the bench, good enough to keep as a #2 but once let go, never really got a chance to play. He got picked up by the Viks I believe st start but then Farve came back in to play. And that was that for him

I can think of at least 8 QBs he could replace right now. Funny thing is i PCd A-Rod, and sold em all(contenders were going for about 20 bucks then) just before Brett Favre got the boot! I would hate to do it again. I guess I will just keep em all and hope he gets a shot!

I was sick about a year after i sold the A-Rods!

I sold 15 contenders for like 300! average 20 bucks!

Really? 8?

No way would he replace 8 starting QB's right now, maybe 3-4 who shouldn't be starters anyways, but not 8
