These last two losses have been tough for the Bears and they play Green Bay Sunday. The Packers have owned Cutler. I would be nervous if I was a Bears fan.

I honestly don't know why they got rid of Martz if they knew they could only pick up Tice. I don't know how it all played out, but Tice was a horrible pickup.

Believe me, I'm already looking ahead to the Arizona game. I'm still not totally confident in us winning that one either.

Unless the Bears are bringing back McMahon with those shades and a mullet, there aren't many options other than a displaced Alex Smith, who is a decent game manager, but not the guy who's going to put them in contention for the Lombardi Trophy.

I like the comparison of Favre to Cutler...gun-slinger. The difference is, Favre never quit on his team two quarters from the Super Bowl. Jay makes too many stupid decisions and is a quitter. As a Packers fan, I'd enjoy seeing Cutler stick around.

To be honest, until the Bears can protect their QB it doesnt matter who they put behind center.

I'm still shaking my head on why we took Shea McClellin with our 1st draft pick over one of those stellar O-Lineman that were still left on the draft board (Riley Reiff, Jonathan Martin, Jeff Allen). I am still curious if they would of took one of them instead of Alshon, had they not been picked a few before. It would of been a great way to start the Draft by going OL, and still grab Alshon imo.

Did the Bears get Marshall before or after the draft? I can't remember. If they got him before the draft, I agree... there was no need for Jeffery.

Sure Cutler isn't having the best season ever, but he isn't even close to the problem. Here is what the Bears should really be focusing on instead of this nonsense
1. The O-line. Its a joke and the completely ignored it last off season. Please go out and sign an o-linemen instead of drafting another hack who gets hurt his first game
2. Receiving Core- Marshall is a good start but the rest are just awful. Earl Bennett is worse than last year and can't stay healthy. Kellen Davis is a sorry excuse for the tight end and are other two tight ends would make good practice squad players. Devin Hester is way past his prime and can't catch worth a damn. Alshon Jeffery was way over-hyped and can't stay healthy. And while were on the subject would sometime tell Eric Weems to remove his head from his anus and stop running balls out from the end zone to the 10 yard line.
3. Defense- Should be the main focus of the Bears draft. The D-Line is ok, but our linebacking core is old and our secondary needs depth. Kelvin Hayden is just not getting the job done and Chris Conte might be my least favorite Bear.

End Rant.

Don't get rid of Cutler

Ill have to disagree with that. In terms of toughness Cutler Is top 5 in terms of QBS that I have seen in my lifetime.

There are so many things wrong with this post...you think Cutler is tougher than Favre? May God have mercy on your soul.

Yeah, Jay is Brett without the touchdowns, toughness, MVPs and Super Bowl ring...

Pretty much Brett with only interceptions and care free slinging...

Cutler isn't in the same stratosphere as Favre when it comes to toughness...and that's not even my inner Packer fan talking, because I generally dislike Favre these days.

You aren't alone, brother.

Nothing like torching the #@#@#@#@ out of the bridge when you walk out. I don't deny that he did great things for Green Bay, but the way it ended left me sour.

Cutler is one tough son of a gun for a lack of a better term.

Marshall saved Cutler on a couple of occasions when he threw the ball up and Marshall came down with it. Could have had a few more picks. The Bears are a decent running team, not sure why they dont focus more on that. IMO Cutler is garbage, but there is no one to replace him either. If the Bears dont have him as QB next year, they will make some rediculous trade for a backup, Flynn, Vick or so on and way overpay.

I don't buy into the "Cutler is a tough guy" mentality but I also think it's a bad argument to have.

A better measure is a player's ability to stay in the game. Call it tough, call it smart, whatever. Bottom line is, a guy who isn't out there doesn't help you win. That's my measurement. Look at Eli, he has like 200+ starts in a row. Is he tough? Maybe he just does a better job not getting hit. Bottom line is he's out there for my Giants every week and that helps us win more consistently than if he wasn't out there.

I could care less about "tough". Give me a guy who plays!
