We only have one in all of Nashville. First weekend of every month. I've started buying most of my wax there. Competitive prices and don't have to wait or pay for shipping. Pretty unbelievable that there is only one LCS and 1 card show in a city as large as Nashville.

It's about a 3 hour drive to Portland, but there's at least one a month. The next one is on the 22nd. Though I'm not sure it's worth the drive unless you fit some other stuff into the trip. It's pretty small shows these days. Maybe 30 tables.
On another note, I make my way to Florence fairly often. I know it's not the same as going yourself, but hit me up if you ever want someone to look out for something. |

The one LCS is a cool guy with a ton of stuff but it's a bit overpriced and out of the way(for me at least)

The Shoreline monthly shows are a joke...maybe 1-2 dealers with decent stuff, and otherwise a bunch of guys with piles of inserts nobody wants who can't even be bothered to set up a properly organized table and sit around playing cards all day.
I live ten minutes away, and I stopped going several years ago because it was a waste of my time.... |

But on more general note, there are increasingly fewer card shows anywhere outside the Northeast simply because dealers now do most of there business online and don't want to be bothered to lug their stuff around. Note, for example, that the National rotates between Chicago, Cleveland, and Baltimore....I think it's been west of the Mississippi or south of the Mason-Dixon line once in the past twenty years.
Tristar is about the only national promoter left anymore, and they only do shows in Texas and the Bay Area (once a year). |
