i wonder if those players will sue the NFL for somehow hurting their potential earnings by trying to put a bad rap on them?

I dont see them winning, as Tagliabue says that the players were part of "conduct detrimental to the league." The league could argue that the players had to be sidelined while this was investigated and dealt with.

Also, it's not like most of the players haven't been able to play anyway.

Sue for what? They were still guilty of performance bonuses just b/c Goodell put the bounty word on it, which let's be honest that's what it is I doubt any court is going to side with them.

Who knows, people sue for all kinds of bogus stuff these days. I wouldn't at all be surprised if one of the players tries to get money from the NFL for being "Wrongfully" accused

Thought I read the newest CBA restricts players from suing the league.

again...they weren't "wrongfully accused"...apparently they were "wrongfully sentenced". Tagliabue said they shouldve been fined instead of suspended. which in all basic principles, couldve been similar amounts of money based on the infractions.

You know you might be taking professional sports a little too seriously when you care so much for a professional athlete's financial situation...

This hurts Vilma's court case in the long run and just pinned the whole bounty gate on the Saints organization as it should have been.

Tagliabue condemned the Saints organization. They are definitely still guilty. No debate.
