Default Week 4 Picks...

I'm on a high after winning 14 of 16 last week, leaving the door wide open for a letdown with a few tough games this week. But here's what I'm rolling with (for now). Home team has an asterisk:

Chicago* OVER Detroit
Cincinnati OVER Cleveland*
Indianapolis* OVER Seattle
N.Y. Giants OVER Kansas City*
Washington* OVER Tampa Bay
Jacksonville* OVER Tennessee
Houston* OVER Oakland
Baltimore OVER New England*
New Orleans* OVER N.Y. Jets
Miami* OVER Buffalo
Dallas OVER Denver*
San Francisco* OVER St. Louis
Pittsburgh* OVER San Diego
Minnesota* OVER Green Bay

The ones I'm really on the fence about are Miami, Pittsburgh and Minnesota.

It's possible NE wins, but that comment was weird. Not like I picked Cleveland to beat NE or something...

I agree for the most part except for the following.

Tennessee will beat Jacksonville - CJ should have a field day with them. I also think Buffalo will beat Miami. The NO vs. Jets game is going to be good.

I pick every week to at my LCS, every that plays pays $5 each. Ends up being good with 50 plus people each week.

Here's my picks (only hard thing is we have point spreads)

Pitt vs SD+6 1/2 (SD)-SD always plays well vs Pitt
Hou vs Oak+9 1/2 (Hou)-Don't like the spread but it's Jamarcus Russell
Jax+2 1/2 vs Tenn (Tenn)-Wasn't too hard Tenn is in a whole must win
NE vs Balt+2 (NE)-At home, NE has something to prove
Cle+5 vs Cinn (Cinn)-Hope Palmer doesn't screw this one up
KC+9 vs NYG (NYG)-High point spread but counted on offense to come thru
CHI vs DET+10 (CHI)-Cutler has a field day with the secondary
WAS vs TB+7 (WAS)-A very biased pick. I could easily see TB overing spread
IND vs SEA (IND)-Easiest pick of the week w/ no spread
NO vs NYJ+6 1/2 (NO)-#1 offense vs #1 defense. Brees proves why he's best.
MIA vs Buff (Buff)-Buff wins easily, Henne's first start don't see him winning
SF vs STL+10 (STL)-Spreads big but no Bulger. SF looks great this year.
Den vs Dal (DAL)-Denver is overrated(Beat Cinn, CLE, OAK). Den lose big.
Minn vs GB+3 1/2 (GB)-Just feel GB will win. I feel this game being close and the 3 1/2 spread will be hugh.

So I think most of our picks are the same except a few.

I agree with you Zacky, except for Tenn and Jac. CJ should have a field day against a D that is weak against the run, + the fact that they are in desparation mode and NEED this win!

That's the reason I'll probably change it. Jacksonville might score a few points, but the Titans should be able to run well...

Sorry Zacky, I don't know what the hell is up with Tenn! CJ is the only good player on that team, apparently.

Lost three games today...Obviously Tennessee (Yes I am kicking myself there), Baltimore and Dallas. Again, at least they're losses that most likely many others in my pool missed too so I should be okay, especially if Minnesota wins tomorrow night. (Although if they don't I don't care cuz then that means we have a three-way tie for first in the NFC North!)

Forte was on his game today, and Cutler made the throws he needed to. 7-1 TD-INT ratio with a completion percentage around 70% since that rough first week...definitely what we traded for...

Exactly... Cutler was just nervous the first game.
And with Knox and Hester, the Bears have 2 of the fastest receivers in the league for Cutler to throw to.
Now if Forte can just be consistent.... Hmmmm...
