No, but he won games, which is what MarshallCutler6 said. And the age-old "Dilfer over Marino" line is just stupid.

I'm sure most QBs would trade any number of regular season wins for a Super Bowl win.

When you think of "winning QBs", most people think Super Bowls, not regular season wins.

CHICAGO -- Jay Cutler does indeed have a knee injury -- a sprained medial collateral ligament, the team announced on Monday -- providing at least some explanation for why the Bears quarterback played only one series in the second half of Sunday's NFC title game, prompting critics to question Cutler's toughness.

NFL playoffs: Chicago Bears' Jay Cutler suffered MCL sprain vs. Green Bay Packers - ESPN Chicago

Thats one game he didn't help them win. CRAP THAT WAS THE BIGGEST GAME OF HIS CAREER.

Phillip Rivers played an entire playoff game with a torn ACL.

I'm sure any of them would...fans would too. But don't use the nonsensical and inaccurate Dilfer/Marino comparison.

Well, "wins games" over a guy "who puts up numbers" is pretty vague and ambiguous.

You can pretty much take that whatever you want to.

But of course anyone with any sense would take Marino over Dilfer, which was my point. I'll take Stafford over Cutler anyday as well.

Howmany of those has Stafford had the opportunity to play in?

I rest my case, Cutler>Stafford Because he wins games.

lol Stafford wouldnt have rode a bike on the sideline while his team was playing for a spot in Superbowl. I can't think of one other QB that would do that.

lol I'll leave it at that. Whatever you say man.

And (hopefully) my final post on the subject of winning vs. stats...

Quarterbacks aren't the only ones playing, which is why winning is overvalued in quarterbacks. There are eleven players on the field at a time, and however many guys on the active roster. Which is why "Quarterback A is better than Quarterback B because his team has won more games" is another dumb argument. Is Alex Green better than Jamaal Charles because Green Bay has a better record?

But he is garbage. I mean to think that people would rather have Cutler..
He's also about to break the single season record for pass attempts...Stafford has had a bad season, empty yards are irrelevant when you always throw the ball because you're losing.

Cutler is 33-22 as the Bears starter

Stafford is 17-27 as the Lions starter

Yeah, but Stafford was drafted by an 0-16 Lions team from the year before (2008).

He's made them a LOT better just by himself. The Lions made the playoffs last year for the first time since 1999.

They need to fix the holes on the rest of the team (defense, special teams, other WRs opposite Calvin).

They have all the tools to be one of the Elite teams in the NFL. Stafford needs to play much better, you need a solid RB who's career long is longer than 16 yards, and a coach that can actually control a team. Then the NFC North would be a very very scary division

Very well said from a Lions fan

On a side note

Obviously I hate the Bears and Packers so I am willing to screw up our draft position to eliminate the Bears like Edinger did to us years back
