1981 Topps Joe Montana Rookie
 

Hi everybody,

Earlier today I bought a 1981 Topps Joe Montana rookie card. The condition is as seen in the scanned picture. I don't know what to do with it and I was wondering if I could get some opinions. I don't know if I should get it graded or hold on to it as it is. But, as you can see the centering is off and besides that everything else looks good to me. I may also be open to possible trades or selling it.

Id grade it for s's & g's, centering could be worse

its off center at a diagonal, no way it gets above a 8!!! anything under an 8, you might as well just keep it raw!! not to mention that it also looks trimmed!!

I got it from my lcs. How does it look trimmed?!?

It looks "diamond" cut to me. I'd keep it raw.

if you're trying to gauge prices, I just sold my 1981 topps montana bgs 8.5 for $135.

This. The diamond cut = 7 max, which you won't even get you the grading fee premium on it over raw.
