Strata Clear Cut - Toploader size?

What toploader size are you using for these cards?

I just tried to use a 130 and it is a little small. I was thinking of using a 180 and then stuffing another card to keep it from sliding.

Extra thick sleeve + 180 toploader should do the trick without needing a filler. I broke, sorted, packed, and shipped 5 cases worth over the last couple days.

The relics are good in a 130, and the base and base autos fit well in a 75.

I've been using 180's. However, in another thread there seems to be an argument that nobody should use toploaders at all on these cards. Check out some of the comments in this other thread...one guy said he wouldn't even buy from a seller who toploads their clear cuts...

I plan to put some of my clear cuts on EBay and that's why I asked. But I'm not going to put a Criner in a 180 magnetic for a $5, if I'm lucky, ending value.

hmmm. I think the comment was more in reference to what he mentioned just before that about people using the 25 card snap tite holders. those are AWFUL for cards as the inside corners of the case are actually slightly rounded...and tend to have the same effect on the cards that get put in them.

I have my Posey's in top loaders and I think they're fine

I didn't see any comment about not buying or that you were not supposed to put them in top loaders. I just saw a comment about the snap cases and those are brutal on card corners.

He said OR toploader, so he wants them shipped in a PWE with no protection.

I was the one who made the comment in the other thread.

My point was.....you don't put an autographed RG3 or Luck Clear Cut (maybe even Wilson) in a toploader. Especially, if you're selling it on EBay. There is no excuse for that. Toploaders aren't the sturdiest form of protecting a card and there is always a chance of the card being damaged in transit. Very slim chance, but a chance nonetheless. Cards like this should be put in a magnetic holder or equivalent form of protection (screwdown, etc)

Now some underproductive player liker Posey, Toon, Criner, etc....a Clear Cut in a toploader is fine. Because at the end of the day a card like that being damaged isn't really that costly and can probably be replaced or refunded easily.
