The way Pryor is carving them up I would have loved to see what our best back Thompson could have done in this game!

It was a nice effort NIU and you took a big step forward this year but you are not ready yet.

Even with FSU offering boosters 50% off tickets they were still too expensive to make the trek to Crapami. I went to the last several bowl games. Decided to watch this one on TV.

has nothing to do with NIU or being the B game to the national championship huh lol.

"Crapami" has more FSU alumni than Tallahassee FYI

We never travel to the OB. Traditionally we sell more tickets to any other bowl game. Miami is the largest metro in the state, so of course more alum of the third largest school in the state live in the area. Atlanta is an FSU hotbed. We fill up the GA Dome.

Garrett Wolf tore it up ten years ago.

You see that in the NBA, but I've never seen an NCAA football coach get it.

I've seen some irate coaches never get a look for the official.

I think I saw the official throw his boxers on that play. Is that a 40 yard penalty with 14 points?

Can Jordan Lynch successfully throw anything but screen passes? Jeez...damn near every time he's taken a shot, he's missed. 15/39 on the night! I think it's safe to say that he's a product of the MAC after tonight...

15/41, 176 yards, 1 TD/1 INT (36.5% completion %)
23 carries, 44 yards (1.9 YPC)

After all the hype from Lynch, that's awful...take him out of the MAC, and that's what you get. Didn't even look good, missed a number of passes by a significant margin. Thank goodness for screen passes! Crickets...

NIU did better than I expected, though. Physically outmatched, but they gave FSU a run for their money. With the guts their coach has, I think he earned a shot to be the top dog. They just physically couldn't keep up. Congrats to NIU on making it, and to FSU for winning!

yep your completely right..he was completely awful

Did he make some terrible plays? yes...the 1 INT near goal killed all their momentum. And "some" of his passes were off target. But he also had some nice plays and was on target for some of his passes/runs as well.

It also didnt help that he had at least 5 passes dropped by WR, that were right on target.

Also didnt help with the defense getting caught with their pants down on numerous plays.

I hope Lynch comes back again next year to do it again.

also...didnt Ben Roethlisberger also come from the MAC? and how has that guy turned out in the NFL after breaking all kinds of MAC records (off field issues aside)?

Yea, the last two Orange Bowl's were SO much more competitive....oh wait.

Oh, and anyone that doesn't think Lynch was awful last night is delusional.
