Default 2007 Topps Adrian Peterson Rookie Premiere Auto
Just wanted everyones opinion. I am looking to pick one of these up for my pc in a BGS 9.5 w/ 10 auto. There are currently 4 of them up on ebay. I know this is a highly forged/faked card. Should I stay away from these or trust that BGS actually graded authentic versions of these cards?

If they are graded, that means they are real. Plus, the ap fakes are bad fakes. He has a unique auto.

Graded does not mean that they are real. BGS only grades the condition of the card and autograph, they do not authenticate anything. It costs extra for that and then they can have PSA take a look at it.

To answer the OP, I'm not too comfortable with the first one but the other 3 all look real to me but I am by NO means an expert!

all four of those look legit to me...i had a red ink version certified by jsa, member here pulled it, i bought it, then he bought it back lol

this is one with a fake auto slabbed psa 10...auto has no cert...the grade is only the card...how any collector buys that is beyond me...

Well the player issue is a sticker auto. Didn't think any premieres were sticker,

I think the 4 BGS 9.5's in the original post are all real, but the sheer volume of fakes out there would make me want to err on the side of caution. They are all graded, but unless I missed something, none of them are JSA certified. Beckett will no longer grade them unless they are JSA certified authentic.

The funny part of this one is that I believe that to be a legit sticker auto, but to my knowledge these cards were not made with sticker autos. Is it possible that somebody pulled a sticker auto off of a cheaper non-rookie Adrian Peterson auto and put it onto a blank player issue card?

Not sure, the 4 in the OP look real except perhaps #3 which was graded in 2009, the other 3 were all sent in by one person it looks like and in oct 2007 which was not long after release so those would be the ones I go after personally if interested...

the player issue i have never seen, and would be curious to know more about. although if it is rare i doubt a AP collector will tell anyone, but rather go buy it haha

They all look real from the OP the fakes have a much bolder pen and the autographs are much more..well ugly..The player issue i have never seen, weird thing is, it does look legit but probably isn't going to be worth much in the long run since there is a bunch of controversy with this set as it is, so i would stay away from that one

haha, I am looking for a version with high subs and was leaning towards #3. AP has a horrible selection of auto rookie cards with most of the autos running off the sticker. I just like the clean look of the card, but I'm not 100% sure the auto is authentic.
