Here's how I personally think this will play out.
Obviously, one of the two between rg3 and wilson will be advancing this weekend. And Luck is on his own in the AFC. I believe if both Luck AND RG3 advance past the first round, their prices should expect to see around a 15-30 percent surge across the board (there will be the rare exception). May be a little over-generous with that analysis, but we shall see. But we already know both their cards have already been astronomically high since pretty much week 1. Now. If Russell Wilson wins AND Luck loses...I believe we may see one of the biggest price hikes we've seen in the hobby this year (perhaps second only to Doug Martin and Kaepernick's breakout games). I say this for 2 reasons: 1) that would mean he is the only remaining starting rookie QB from the crop to advance in the playoffs. Collectors/prospectors will shift and focus their money towards him 2) his team has been heavily touted in the media as a prime candidate to go deep into the playoffs and perhaps the superbowl Depending on the severity of the win, I can see Wilson's prices nearing Luck and RG3's prices, as many of his cards (lower autos, etc) still trail their prices by 50-60%, despite the variables. What do you guys think? |

I think I have my two Luck autos ending on eBay on Sunday night so he better win! Haha
I agree with you on Wilson though. If he gets the win I think his cards will shoot up more than if RG III or Luck win.

I believe Russell and Andrew advance. Let's just say I'd stock on Wilson as best you can. His prices will go batty.

Either way, I'll do well on it. If they win I'll make a KILLING. If they lose I'll still make some on it, but probably not till next season. |

indeed
You can never get too greedy, but there isn't a second I don't kick myself for not picking up way more Wilson during weeks 2 through 10 while they were the softest all season His 1/1 pigskin nfl logo finest patch auto sold for ~400 around that time. Good lord. |
