Default I need some help with this....

I've got to figure out exactly what the difference is between these two cards (besides the obvious one being a retail product):

2012 Topps Prime Primetimers #PTAB Ahmad Bradshaw
2012 Topps Prime Primetimers Silver Retail #PTAB Ahmad Bradshaw

I have looked on ebay at primeimters retail and primetimers that sellers say are from hobby boxes and I can't see any physical difference in the cards? I don't see what makes the retail versions "Silver"?

I have one of the two versions in hand...the card stock is think enough that the card won't bend...it's not flexible. I'm not sure if the Topps Prime retail used a standard card stock like the regular topps set base cards or something similar to that or a thicker card stock?

I am missing one of the two and I have no idea which one it is...can anyone who busted some Topps Prime Retail or Blasters tell me how thick the card stock is on one of the Primetimers inserts? could be any player as long as you are sure it came out of a retail product.

Same for the hobby versions if anyone has any laying around and can check it for me?

This has been driving me nuts for a while now and I'm finally asking for some help in figuring it out...lol.

Thanks in advance for any help here.

I have asked sellers on eBay and it sounds like they are the same card. I think it was a retail only card.

I was beginning to think that as well...but, there are hobby versions listed on ebay and i've asked sellers and they tell me they only break hobby product and do zero retail.

primetimers hobby | eBay

this one is kinda tricky.

In the box of Prime I opened from Walmart the Primetimers insert is thin like a normal topps card.

thank you! That's exactly what i needed to know!

so card stock thickness must be the only difference in these?

That's usually the difference. But the retail always seems even thinner than standard card stock.

yeah i just wanted to make sure...i cant find one and cant get a straight answer out of half the sellers on ebay who post one...and they have mostly stopped putting them up for sale at this point because they are not worth much....which sucks for me because i need a retail version apparently lol.
