Commissioning a football-themed sketch card

Has anyone ever done this before?
I know it's more popular over in the non-sports forum with movies and what not.
I was just wondering how one would go about doing this for football.

Where do you find the artist? What's the typical turnaround time on it? How much does it cost? Where do you find blank cards?
If anyone has any experience I would love to hear it.

There are quite a few of people on here that do......... here's my thread....

My sketch card thread, major mojo.
(thanks for the reminder to update it)

Most use different mediums and styles and vary in quality, so you need to find what you like and don't.
There is also Qwasian, the guy posted in the thread above and more (I just don't remember them off the top of my head, but can get you more names if needed)

I don't know a ton of people who do them, but my turn-around time is 24 hours from the time of payment, cost is based on how much detail you want in it, I personally find blank cards at the hobby shop, if you are interested in doing sketch cards I can give you some advice as far as pens/pencils and materials you would need just PM me...... if your interested in me doing one for you I did this one earlier this morning so you can get an idea of what one I did looks like

Either one of the artist who post before me, feel free to pm me. I wouldn't have a problem with one from both of you. I like the Arron Rogers Face/beanie black and white sketch, and one with color. That Rice is sick! Hit me up.

I used a pic of jerry rice as a reference and drew the card. thanks for the compliment.

Kidding! But good work on all the sketches, I think there is a lot of room for more sketches in the sports cards area.
