For baseball cards there is a site called justcommons that is a great place to pick up cheap base cards to complete sets. However, it is just for baseball cards. Is there anything similar for football?

I am familiar with both sportlots and COMC. I have used both. The key thing about JustCommons is that you are buying from a single seller and only pay one shipping charge. Shipping is free on any orders of $10 or more. It is a great way to fill out sets on the cheap. I would like to find something similar for football.

Comc? They have a flat $3 shipping deal now. Cards come in a bubble mailer or box (order size dependent), bagged and sandwiched between top loads. You can also view a decent chunk of the inventory on Amazon under the seller COMC. A little more expensive shipping (4.95), but orders are sent out a little faster.

I used to pick up a few things from COMC every once in awhile until they started charging a $0.25 handling fee on every card you buy...no thanks.

sportlots is the way for commons, nearly everything would run you .18 a card, depending on the dealer as some can go below that. I am unable to. dealers also set their own shipping costs and if some are like me, will offer discounts on multiple card purchases. I've done a little shopping on there, and more selling than anything. just be aware if you add a card to your "cart" it takes it out the sellers inventory until purchased or if you take it out of your cart. I've had plenty of cards held hostage like this to never get a payment, also I have a feeling I have done it in the past before I knew of this issue.
Some offer all flat rates on shipping, others tiered and other just way high. I've done well on both sides as a buyer and seller and have very little to complain about
