RG3 Absolute 1/1 Shield Patch On Card Auto
 

Was thinking of putting it up for auction tonight. I haven't gotten any real offers yet. Thoughts or suggestions?

Not a great time to sell in my opinion for obvious reasons. Last weekend was the time to sell, so you are kinda in that in between period. I think you have to wait and see what he can do when he comes back.

I feel like it'll be worth the wait.

I have a big time RG3 card to get rid of as well. I still think it's time to sell while he's a RC, the value seems to drop off after their first season...

Yeah I see what happened to Newton stuff I don't want to take that chance.

I'm sorry, but that is just a god awful looking card

First, the design of it is piss poor, looks like they just too their jumbo patch design and decided to make a shield 1/1 at the last second. How long would it have taken to make the cutout the size and shape of the shield?

Second, this isn't even from a jersey, that shield is just sewn into a random part of the body of a jersey, that's not from a neckline

Having said all that, sell it now for whatever you can, I'd auction it, maybe 10 day to get as many views as possible. If he can't come back at the start of next year his prices will take a really long time to come back up

And if he doesn't come back healthy and strong to start the season, this card will never be worth as much as it is right now even with the dip his prices are taking

This is most likely one of if not the worst of all his 1/1 shield cards from this year, it won't hold it's value unless he comes out of the gates as a top 10 QB to start the season, which is highly unlikely

If it were me I would lower buy it now to something like 2,999 obo and try to get 50% or higher on it...the russell wilson has been on ebay for a month and has not sold at 1,997 obo...and IMO right now RG3 is beneath Wilson on the food chain, i could be wrong

There is no way I would auction him right now. IF you got any offer over 2,000 for it I would run with it fast...If you do lower BIN to 2,999 click on instant payment required so someone does not click on the BIN to mess with you

Rg3 will be back next year and be a beast like he was this year, if only the guy knew to slid instead of getting a few extra yards out of a run the skins would still be in the playoffs
