I assume the majority is going to say AJ Green. Anyone think differently?

If he keeps on maturing and keeps his head on straight Dez could become the second best WR in the NFL behind Calvin
I'd say its a toss up really

I think Dez is extremely physically talented, like Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald. I do think there is a tier above that, which is where AJ Green is chilling. Meanwhile, Calvin Johnson is in his Penthouse Jacuzzi.
That's my evaluation talent-wise, and AJ has his head screwed on better in the first place.

I think Romo is the better QB right now... *takes cover*
Seriously though, one of a WRs biggest benefit is their QB and I don't think Dalton is even close to Romo. Romo might be a choker, but he puts up pretty good stats consistently. Both AJ and Dez are beastly, but Dalton will need to keep getting better.

Well, given that Romo is the ultimate tease and is in his contract year, that means the Cowboys will make it to the Super Bowl, lose, Romo will the big contract, and Cowboys fans will be stuck with mediocrity for 5 more years.
So given that, I'd Dez will peak higher hobby-wise and then fade, but Green has more potential to build a HOF career with sustained success. |

If his mental stability and football IQ don't catch up with his talent and athleticism, Dez Bryant won't make it but a couple more years.

I would say Dez because of who is playing behind the center. Think of how Jerry Rice had Montana and Young throwing to him, Moss and Brady, Harrison and Peyton, etc. Yes, AJ is a solid player, however Dalton may not be the answer, just like Romo is hopefully not the long term answer for the Cowboys.

Except when he doesn't. Dez is very similar to Terrell Owens - he makes great, big plays, but he will sometimes drop passes a high schooler would be capable of catching. He makes enough spectacular catches to make you forget his higher drop rate.
My nickname for him earlier this season was F***face McStonehands.

Dez Bryant could have 3/4s the career of AJ Green and still be worth more. Cincy is a black hole of hobby collecting.
That being said, most WRs are barely worth anything after their RC, so there's that.

as well as any modern day RB once they hit 30. However the answer to the question of the thread I would say Dez. I think he will always be surrounded with more talent.

Am I in some sort of parallel universe where an inferior receiver is considered to be better than another? I just can't quite comprehend how anyone could think Dez Bryant can touch AJ Green. I took the liberty of looking up each of their stats.
Dez 41 games 200 catches 2871 yards 27 TD's AJ 31 games 162 catches 2407 yards 18 TD's AJ trails Dez in every category however Dez has played in 10 more games then AJ. I don't think it's that far of a reach to say that AJ would surpass Dez in every category except for possibly TD's if they played the same amount of games.

both are good players when they're on and have a QB that's on their game as well.
Dez has the better frame and height and AJ has the better speed and hands. both will be good if they can keep everything together and their teams don't implode around them. Right now, slight edge to Green because he has a lack of off-field issues.

Quote:
Green's stats 97 Receptions 1350 Yards 11 TDs Dez's stats 92 Receptions 1382 Yards 12 TDs. Throw in that stats wise Dez was the best WR in the game during the 2nd half of the year not named Megatron. They are both freakishly good. Assuming all of his issues are out of the way I'd probably take Dez though.
