Default 2012 gold standard

Are they producing it this year or was it a one hit wonder? Or did I miss something.

I didn't count it among Panini's 18 products.

Threads was another casualty this year.

Gold Standard was replaced by Prizm, essentially.

EDIT: Meant to say Black, not Prizm!

if Prizm stands out as what some might expect,I take this as one of the rare smart moves they made. Gold Trash was just terrible.

I see I'm in the minority, but I really liked the RPAs from Gold Standard.
My Randall Cobb 2 color is one of my favorite RCs of his.

I'm a singles buyer though, so there's no way I would have touched a box.

I agree with TheHelmutt, I liked the RPAs. Not much to say after that though. It is a better product for the basketball collectors.

Indeed, Black is much better over all. The RPA's in GS were pretty nice, but the product was a tad watered down.

Not a problem. With Threads and Gridiron Gear being combined into one product of Gridiron and Panini experimenting with Prizm, I can see why they decided to make Prizm this season.

I, for one, don't complain about a bevy of products, they all work at different price points and all have different appeals.
