I understand the OP's frustration with delusional asking prices these days from eBay sellers, but it is a HUGE growing trend on all card sites these days... They are trying to maximize their sell price, so why not ask an inflated absurd price hoping to get a decent offer... In all fairness though what you paid for the two you own may in your eyes "what the card is going for", but he feels otherwise... IMHO $50 for a /5 Gresham that YOU are dying to own is not that bad of a price, and if you think so, move on, and let him eat his card... Complaining about how he is a dumbass because he doesn't want to sell to you at a lowball offer of $20 is just silly... He can ask for whatever price he wants... Sucks, but it is what it is...

I didn't bother to read the whole thread, but if I had a card #'d to 5, I would not take $20 for it unless it was a dead, dead common. $200 is a joke.

If that was my card, I would have $50 or BO and probably accept $35, maybe a smidge below.

My philosophy on low numbers like that are, if you don't want to pay my price, find it elsewhere. Seriously, it's #d to 5. There are only 5 of them and it's a jersey card. If you don't buy from him, what are the odds you will see another one?

I see he sold it for $20 which I think is way too cheap. Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

To the op instead of coming here and throwing a hissy fit why didnt you open a line of communication with the seller and try to be a human about not getting your way? Starting a thread like this can bite you bad. Imagine if the seller was a member here and saw this thread or the seller was a child and your delta bravo thread squashed his excitement for the hobby? In my opinion he may have been out of line of a reasonable pricing but you were out of line in a far more offensive manner.

So let's say I buy a box of exquisite and my best hit is a Jordan Todman. According to your logic, I shouldn't accept anything less than $450.
