I read that this was featured in Beckett, but I just don't get where this patch could be from. Thoughts?

i'd say legit, I can't remember where they said they were from either, but I know quite a few of these were pretty sick!!

It's the same card listed in the Beckett magazine, looks good to me.

It sucks because even if you buy it and end up selling it one day, any potential customer is gonna ask you a bazillion questions about if its real or not. Money grubbing patch fakers have ruined one of the best parts of this hobby. The card companies not doing something to fix it does not help either.There is multiple solutions to the problem but it would take some time, effort and money so they wont even bother. Once it leaves thier facility it has been paid for and thats all that matters to them.

I dont see what part of jersey it could be from..but I had a card not from this set but patch looked kinda familiar from pro bowl jersey

Yeah coz Beckett have never been wrong about anything before....

Just because it was chosen as a pic for some kind of feature does not necessarily make it real. Not saying it's not, but it's event-worn either way so fake or not, it's probably about the same thing!

The patch is from a Pro Bowl jersey, but it's from an event worn Carter jersey. Just how would a Rookie, whose cards have been released during the season, have a "legit" Pro Bowl swatch in his cards otherwise? I doubt the card has been faked, but I seriously question the reasoning behind why this patch was used in the first place, and I DEFINITELY wouldn't pay a premium for it.

Guys, cmon. These types of cards come up all the time, and I doubt that they will ever stop.

I dont care if it was featured in Beckett, or if someone is vouching for a friend pulling it out of a pack. Bottom line is that they are all questionable. If its questionable, why waste your hard earned money on it unless you know its 100% real? That doesnt make sense to me. I may have mentioned that UD used a pro-bowl jersey at the premiere on my site, but that doesnt mean this card is real.

Card is real. Its from the old cardinals jersey. Look here at this old plummer jersey
