Question about shipping a high end card

If you purchase $300 in insurance can you just drop it off at the post office mail box or do you have to go inside and hand it to the people working there?

I would hand it in, only because i'm OCD about that kind of sale.

Also, did you pay for signature confirmation? That's a must with something over 250 bucks to be protected as a seller.

I would take it directly to the post office, get in line and have one of the workers process it. I would also get a signature confirmation. No way I play around with that type of money.

Hand it in person. They can scan it and give you a receipt that it was received by them. Better to play it safe on a purchase like this!

Do not mail it in a bubble mailer if your insuring it, put it in a box. The post office will claim it wasn't properly packaged unless it's in a box and you will lose the case. But yes walk it in and hand it to them that way they have you on camera as well.

Put it in a bubble mailer. Put the bubble mailer inside one of the USPS Priority Flat Rate envelopes that cost $4.95 to send. Add $300 insurance and signature confirmation.

I sold a Thomas Jefferson 2008 UD Signs of History Cut Auto 2/2 for $4750 once...talk about being nervous when shipping that! I shipped it next day w/ Fed-Ex though.
