If they win the super bowl, Im sure he'll get the MVP also most likely.
I know his cards are already crazy high, what do guys think? Go up, stay where there at, or decrease because the hype is gone.

A SB win will only fuel the fire. It's the only way they can go up. A SB win will bring even casual fans who don't collect to the market. I'm holding the few I have until after the SB. Even if they lose I will still make me some money.

If they win the "SB" and Kaepernick is involved and has a good game prices will rise imo not sure how much but definetly go up. On another note the rise in prices are due to people not even in the hobby not even football card collectors (true fans of the 49ers) buying stuff up you need to realize the 49ers have a huge fan base and every 49er fan I personally know love his future.

I think he meant the Super Bowl MVP. I don't think anyone is making the case for him as regular season MVP.

Correct I was referring to the actual Super Bowl than to the season.

Well if Cam was in the "SB" do you realize how much his cards would be worth right now???

Or the year and a half he had to watch game film, practice time, and so on. Regardless of playing time, he still had over a year to learn the pro game

You actually don't have a case here. Abbreviations are for simplying terms or names that are long or complex. Kaepernick is not a very common name. Had you objected to the abbreviation of an easy or common name like Robert, you might have had a point

Most people in the hobby know not to buy now and to sell. I sold mine and will just buy them back during the summer at a fraction of the price. |

If he wins the Super Bowl and Super Bowl MVP u will not be able to buy them back at a fraction of the price in the summer IMO.

Why would anyone buy him right now? He is so hyped up it is absurd. Say he wins the Super Bowl, there will be a price surge, but after a few months the prices will come back down. Then he comes into next season and sucks it up people will drop him like a bad habit. This hobby is fickle and if you have a chance to sell a card for 2000% profit DO IT
Go back an look at Aaron Rodgers, his prices went STUPID during the year he won his ring. However most prices have fallen back to normal levels other than his SPA which was a redemption, and only /99 copies. He is elite QB as they come, and Kaepernick while he doing well IS NOT ELITE. And should not be bringing elite prices after only playing 6 games. I remember nick foles playing two decent preseason games and everyone was like OMG he is so good. HAHA...he is a joke and sucks just as bad as vick when you see a larger sample of his skill set |

Of course intentions are one thing, but stupidity is another. I fully intend to keep all the Kaep's I have but if $100 to $200 cards become $1 to $2k cards then I'd be crazy not to capitilize--sometimes cards just become too expensive too quickly to keep. |
