Default Prizm....$1300+ per case

Talked to my LCS today and Prizm is going to debut at $109.99/box. I could've had a case for $1170 a few weeks ago.

Sigh.....oh well.

No way I pay more for a case of this than for Chrome. It is pretty but it will not hold its value the same. It needs to be half of that in my opinion.

Hahaha, this product is going to be such a disappointment

They'll look nice and all, but I get the feeling Panini knew the hype alone would carry the product and they probably over produced the crap out of it

This will not be a good product for breakers

Yea, if you're buying it right when it releases

Wait 2-3 weeks and you'll probably be able to get one for like 20-30 bucks

As will I

Probably grab a couple retail packs just to check them out and then buy some Stewarts, but that will be it for me

Not with all the RCs being 1 per pack. $75-$125 will be the going rate.

This is riding the basketball wave, IMO... I doubt it holds.

Biggest bust of the year, so many people are gonna lose their pants on this. And then they will wonder why a Chris Givens or Greg Childs green refractor isn't going for $200+ like similar cards are going for over in basketball. This ain't basketball!

We're talking about Panini here. They never release checklists ahead of time!

Isnt that like every product especially topps chrome that this is competing with. How many people opened the $130 box just to get a givens, Pead, Toon, Poe or other $3 top hit in their box. Just saying!

This man speaks truth. I think Prizm will be a neat product. Also, my LCS doesn't adjust his prices to the severity that most do, so I can get it at MSRP.

I'll be busting a blaster or two and then picking up Packers singles and I'll be happy as a clam.

I was quoted 85 a box on prizm football today, sounds like a good price from everything I've read so far about this product.

No, nobody bought Chrome or any other product expecting random refractors to go for crazy money. But people see Prizm over in basketball and assume that any old random refractor is going to bring all this money. As a result people are biting hard on this product and the price keeps rising. People are setting themselves up for failure.

I think that people are excited about Prizm because it's something new, it looks great and will deliver some nice cards in every box. It's not always about making or losing money. For me, it usually is (I'll admit that) but, in this case, it's something new that people want to get on board with.

He's gouging you on a product that he knows will be hot. At $9.99 per pack, that's $200 per box.

People are gonna be so pissed off when the green refractors don't sell for much.

Basketball collectors haven't had topps chrome in years, when they see something shiny they go nuts for it.

It is all hyped up like Strata, and may be one of the biggest bust products of the year. No way this outsells Topps Chrome. I'd much rather have an RG3 superfractor then the Prizm black 1/1

I can buy for whatever the lowest MAP is (or whatever the hell they call it).

But that will still be 99% to high for a frickin Engew redemption.

If anyone puts a set together (1-300 w/ all 100 RCs), look me up.

The similarities to Chrome are probably appealing to some, but let's face it the hype in basketball is driving this thing. People who don't know about how the Jordan 90's inserts caused the insert market to go crazy in basketball don't realize that rule doesn't apply to other sports. So they think that just like basketball they can open a box of Prizm and make hundreds if they pull a random refractor of a middle-tier player.

Is that price at release? That is $15 under MAPP.
