I am currently working on completing a set of 1948 Bowman baseball cards. In my opinion, I would never buy vintage that hasn't already been authenticated and/or graded. I just wouldn't trust my judgement enough to know exactly what to look for without putting in a great deal of time and effort toward research. Good luck with your decision!

It is tough to tell without seeing them in person and feeling them.

Is the person that you are buying from reputable? Does he have any others?

Does he have a refund policy? This usually tells alot about the seller.

I found the adds on ebay. I actually think they look legit. But like VC says, it's hard to say without seeing them in person. The card stock normally says everything.

if you had a zoomed in view of the cards it's be easier to see if there where print dots or anything...
