I would also donate to the Humane Society as I have 3 dogs, all of which are rescue, and believe that all animals deserve a home where they are cared for and treated well. Thanks for the contest!

Every year, Contenders has 1 RC Ticket Autograph that the pick to be the "Short Print" of the set, or lowest produced auto.

In 2011, the short print is Tyron Smith. They only made 23 of them and since Contenders is a very popular set, many people try to go for the complete set. And if they do, they can not complete it without this card.

It VERY rarely comes up anywhere. In fact, the last one to hit ebay was MONTHS ago. And when the print runs of the set were first revealed, 1 of these sold for over $800!

In 2010 it was Blair White /75, 2009 Aaron Kelly /23, etc.

So if you get any 2012 Contenders this year, I recommend holding onto them until print runs and possible variations are released by panini because you never know!

Hope this helps!

I would donate it to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at the James Cancer Hospital at Ohio State. Great work they're doing there!

I would donate to the krohns and colitis foundation. I was diagnosed with that 6 years ago and it is much more serious than people think. I had never even heard of either one of them until I got sick. There is no cure for either of them, just ways to keep it in check somewhat. I am hoping it isnt genetic and one day they find a cure.

GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!!!!

Great idea thanks so much! I would donate to the Aplastic Anemia & Myelodysplasia Association of Canada. My mom was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia in 2002 and it turned into Leukemia in 2007 and she lost her battle in 2008. Aplastic Anemia receives little funding each year so ever $100 goes a long way.

I would donate to an orginization called the Tears Foundation. They assist families with funeral expenses for infants and children, they are wonderful.

I would donate to St Baldricks if i won your contest. All funds go towards childhood cancer research. I am raising funds for them if anyone else wants to donate. I am a shavee and will be shaving my head for the cause on march 16th. PM me if interested in becoming a shavee or wanting to donate.

I'd love to see St. Jude's in Memphis get this. If I ever get my hands on the lottery (yeah right), they would get a large portion of it.
At 5 years old, my daughter was diagnosed with melanoma cancer. She had an angry mole on her cheek, ought where her cheekbone is. Took her to her pediatrician a few times to get it checked out. Pediatrician said every time that there was nothing to worry about. The mole became a nuisance..if it got bumped, it would bleed like crazy..and was sore all the time. So her mom and I took her back on to get it removed. Pediatrician removed it and sent it off to be tested. Sent it to ohsu where they found cancer cells... Realizing the sample came from a five year old, they thought there was a mistake. So they sent it to Frisco, where they confirmed the results.

St. Jude's took her in as a test patient. Paid for the flight from Oregon to Memphis. Paid for almost everything during the trip. Everything that wasn't covered by insurance, St. Jude's covered. We had to give her injections three times per week, for one full year of Interferon..at the time, this stuff was like $700 per shot. To shorten up this story, she is graduating high school this year..18 years old. Still has the scar across her face and the scar where the mole was to remind me how St. Jude's saved her life

This will actually be my next tattoo..

Nice! Another great charity!

UPDATE:

Auction ends at 10:34 EST, and there is a chance that I will be giving away the $100 instead of the $20! And after reading all the incredible stories and charities, I REALLY hope I will be giving out the $100 later tonight!

Also, it's not too late to enter

And to all the members who have entered so far, how many times should I random the list? I will use the 1st response.

Thanks and good luck everyone!

The auction just surpassed $500, so I will be giving away the $100

This is the cutoff line for new entries since it is now over $500. I will do the random now and send the $100 to the winner as soon as I receive the payment.

I would just like to say before the random that everyone's charity is a real class act and are all very deserving of donations.

Good luck to everyone!
