Default Lets talk National Treasures

So what do you guys think of it? Besides Luck, RG3, and the rest of the rookies what else are there to look forward to? The designs look pretty nice and the vet on card auto's look great.

I probably going to get a box or two, as an early birthday/graduation gift from my day. Will any of you get a few boxes or cases?

Honestly think the RPAs are the ugliest they have been in years.

This.
2011 was cool, 2010 is one of my favorite sets ever.
There will be on-card vet autos though, so I will wait and see...

The on card vet auto's will be the best! Especially Tom Brady. I'd love to get an auto of him. When is the release date for this?

2011 RPAs were a complete train wreck, but these are just above that. Not good.

Can someone post a pick of the 2012 RPA's? The pics will not show up on my computer in the preview for some odd reason.

I couldn't disagree more. I think they are extremely pleasant to look at.

March 27th and there will still be redemptions. Too much white on the cards for my taste.

You all are crazy National Treasures have been the one thing panini had done right for years. They have been excellent. Last year was no exception. The sales don't lie they were some of the most sought after cards as they are every year. The only thing better than NT is Exquisite.

I agree on this through 2009. No licensing kills it for me. Five Star has also done a solid job making a nice product, but the patch windows are too small for the RPAs. They need to work on that.

It was one of the few Nicholas Cage movies that I didn't consider to be totally awful.

TBH, the Luck will probably be the ugliest of the 3 "big" RPAs because of the Colts color scheme blending in. I think the Redskins and Seahawks (especially Seahawks) will have a lot more pop to them.

What I do not understand is why Playbook 2011 sells for $100 per box and National Treasures 2011 sells for $600 and it is basically the same product with thinner card stock? If all the RPAs were game used in National Treasures, then I would understand. can someone explain this?

I think it is a massive liability that both the Luck and RG3 have no logo on their uniforms, so only the Reebok logo or NFL shield will separate any one card from the mountains of event worn patches that have been poured over the hobby this year.

Can this product possibly appreciate over it's $500 per box retail? At least in 2011, the Newton and Kaepernick RPAs had logo versions to create a chase.

National Treasures is National Treasures. That's the only explanation really.

It seems like a lot of these "new" products start and die every 2-3 years and there really are only a handful of mainstays (Chrome, SPA, Contenders, etc.), and they get a following over time. That's my only explanation.
