I don't want to call myself a supercollector, but I do have a large collection.
Rather than boxes, I go with albums, and have a separate one for each style of card. Base cards in one, numbered inserts in another, unnumbered inserts in another, college uniform rookies, pro uniform rookies, pro uniform autos, college uniform autos, college uniform memorabilia cards, pro uniform mem cards. I then have all of my 1/1s in one touches.

I keep all my cards of Gronk that book over $3 in top loaders in one of those big white boxes that have dividers. Those cards are organices in the rows by year then by set. The Rookie cards are the only ones that are not with their sets they are all together in the front of the first row. Then the cards worth less then $3 mostly base i keep in 9 card pages in a folder. Some people set their top loader minimum price at $5-$10 i have mine much lower as you can see lol

Everything of current/former players back to 1995 is sorted by player, all in penny sleeves. Anything gu/auto'd or #d to 150 or less is toploaded & teambag. Takes up 15 super shoeboxes. Pre 1995 commons/inserts are in 5000 ct boxes by player, not penny sleeved. 2 boxes like that. Good thing i have a gigantic card closet

I've just figured out how I want to store mine...i've been working on it for a few months now and I'll post up some pics once I'm done...might be a while though.
Took me forever to figure out what I wanted to do...but I think I'm set now. Basically I'm going to have everything in toploaders then those in team bags. Those will be sealed in custom made binders...and I do mean sealed. The binders will be broken down in to sets by year...so if i want to pull the 2012 Contenders stuff out, it will have it's own binder...I'm using those report cover type binders that have the 3 hole punch. Each binder will have a checklist of exactly what is inside as the first page. All of the binders will be in hanging folders inside of file folder boxes that clamp shut and are watertight. I'll have one or two file boxes per year I think once it's all said and done and they can be stacked for neat storage. Should be pretty bad a$$ once I'm done with it. As for now, it's a work in progress...still trying to get everything in order...but I plan on starting with the 2008 stuff since I have that entire print run completed. I'll just have to add the 1/1s in as I get them.

For the longest time I went with top loaders for everything and some of my Hackett collection ended up in screwdowns. I just recently started moving everything in to brand new top loaders + team bags and the rare stuff is going in one touches. Every 1/1 in the PC is now in a magnet and graded team bag. I've started slowly, but eventually everything /10 or less will be in a one touch/team bag and the rest will be top loaders/team bags. Has anyone found a nice storage idea for one touch holders in graded bags? I'm using Ultra Pro graded team bags and these things are pretty wide. Once they have cards in them they go in a shoe box since they won't fit in cardboard storage boxes, but I need a nicer long term solution.

Here's the quick and dirty of what i was trying to say:
I bought these binders: ![]() I bought these pages: ![]() will put up to 6 cards in top loaders per page, depending on the set and how many are in the set...will look something like this: ![]() Each binder will have a cover sheet that has the Beckett checklist for that set. ![]() Once the sets are in binders, I'll put them in hanging file folders inside a waterproof box that clamps shut...like this: folders ![]() box...something like this:

forgot to mention, to seal up the pages I bought one of these:
16" 400mm Hand Impulse Sealer Heat Seal Machine Poly Plastic Bag Film Sealing | eBay I am going to put the cards in then seal them in place...you will have to cut the page to remove the card once it's done.

i thought that, but then i'd have to tape the toploaders to keep the cards from coming out....with the Mayo Mini's and stuff like that it would be a nightmare...plus the thicker GU stuff I don't like to put in tight, so they are usually a little loose in the toploaders...the team bag solves that problem.
