Default Jauron GONE in Buffalo

It's about friggin time

NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora reports the Bills have fired head coach Dick Jauron.

The move comes on the heels of a report that Ryan Fitzpatrick would replace Trent Edwards as the starting quarterback. Jauron's offense has been a trainwreck after firing coordinator Turk Schonert just days before the season started. The Bills defense hasn't been much better, bringing up the rear against the run this season. According to NFL.com's Vic Carucci, defensive coordinator Perry Fewell will take over as the interim head coach. Nov. 17 - 2:42 pm et

It was just a matter of time before he was fired. I thought he may last until the end of the season.

That's the solution, Ryan Fitzpatrick.

He will solve ALL of Buffalo's problems.. for the second time this year. Thankfully Cleveland's offense makes all others look HOF worthy.

Should have been fired after they blew the Jet game last year calling a pass play after Lynch was running thru the Jets D and killing the clock

Stupid grandpa Wilson gave him the extension after that joke, and now he's on the hook for that money.

Turn the keys over to Cowher or Shannahan and let them rebuild this mess from the bottom up

for 1: he shouldve been fired after screwing up our #11 pick and then firing the OC before the season..how well did you really think the offense would look Mr. Conservative?

for 2: Fitzpatrick is not the answer at QB. But what are you suppose to do start the 3rd stringer(if they have 1) the rest of the season?at least Fitz isnt afraid to throw the ball down the field. That being said, its not all Edwards fault-he wasnt the greatest QB, but showed some improvement last year and early this year (he was in the top 5 in passer rating after 3 games); but the combination of the OC being fired, no OL to protect him-hes taken way to many hits and sacks and is gunshy in the pocket

They won't take him. As much sense as a QB would make to bring in new blood, they'll probably take another DL, or an OL and think that Edwards is still the answer

i seriously hope you not referring to McCoy are you?? what on earth makes you think he is quality NFL material??

he has a weak arm, hasnt taken many hits in college, all his college experience has been from shotgun

his stats this year-while many are trying to hype him for Heisman-are absolutely horrible

against his tougher competition this year:
Texas Tech 24/34 205 yards 1 TD 2 Int
Oklahoma 21/39 127 yards 1 TD 1 Int
Oklahoma St 16/21 171 yards 1 TD

his stats have been padded against teams like La-Monroe (317 yards), Wyoming (337 yards), UTEP (286 yards), Colorado (265 yards), UCF (470 yards)
to make matters worse for him, he still is averaging at least 1 INT a game-even against his weaker schedule..his only game w/o an INT came against Okla St

i agree we need to take Okung if we draft that high..if not im not sure if McCoy is worthy of passing up an OT for

if anything we need to trade down from our high 1st round position for few spots lower and an additional 2nd or 3rd round pick..we can still pick up a quality OT lower in first round such as Baluga, Campbell, Brown; then in the 2nd round a quality DT such as Odrick, Jones, Oghabaase and maybe a WR such as Tate, Benn, LaFel
