Default Which Jay Cutler Shows Up This Week?

First off, I know, I know, it's not just Cutler, it's his O-Line, etc., etc., but I have stats that lean both ways for the matchup this Sunday night against Donovan McNabb. Here's the good and the bad:

HOME GAMES: 91-143 (63.6), 971 YDS, 7 TD, 2 INT
NIGHT GAMES: 100-169 (59.2), 1120 YDS, 5 TD, 11 INT

I should point out this will be his first home game at night. Cutler had a QB rating around 100 in night games the past two seasons, so do I ignore those for this game? Philly is 10th in the league in pass defense and 3rd in sacks, though, which also scares me. As a Bears' fan I've picked them every week in my pool except against Pittsburgh (And go figure, they won), and it's starting to cost me.

I'm not sure which Cutler will show up this week but his career is shaping up to be a lot like Jeff George's...

...big arm, big ego...but not a winner...

My other concern is that his home games have been against: Detroit, Seattle, Cleveland and Arizona. One real quality team there.

The one who will be under pressure all game long by the Eagles D. This is a must win for Philly this week. With their DBs all banged up, expect them to send everyone early and often at Cutler.

ok seriously this is startingto get ridiculous..not to get off topic-I fully understand all the criticismetc and it is fully warranted

but this is the second post in as many threads comparing Cutler to Jeff George..are you people really serious or just have no other comparisons??

Cutlers stats are far more superior to George's through his first 3 seasons..and you want to talk about winning?

Jeff George had a whopping 14-37 thorugh his first 4 years in the NFL,most of which starting
Jay Cutler has a 21-25 record with the rest of this year to go..now that might not seem different to you-but George was pretty much a starter sincehe came into the league, while as Cutler only started the last 5 games of his rookie year..so in Georges first full 4 seasons he still had 7 less wins and 12 more losses than Cutler has not even through a full THREE AND A HALF SEASONS

again i get the criticism..he still has flaws..he probably has more flaws than many QBs-but as many have pointed out
last year-great OL, Marshall Royal Stokley and TEs to throw to
this year-decent at best OL, and people like Hester, Bennett, Olsen to throw to..plus an absolutely non-existant run game

i know people will still hate and maybe he is "ovverhyped"...but these comparisons such as Jeff George, Alex Smith,David Carr...seriously?? come on now

back on topic-i think its gonna be a rough game for the Bears overall..if they can get somewhat of a run game kick started it might be ok..Rivers only had about 250 yards and 2 TDs..the bad news will be for the Bears defense who (exceptfor last week) has looked terrible, and McNabb just lit up the Chargers secondary for 450 yards...

i can see a decent 250 2 TD 2 Int game for Cutler, but itll also depend how much the run can go (LT had 100 yards 2 TD last week) and the aforementioned defense can hold up

Philip Rivers and LT were virtually flawless, and the defense, despite the big yardage, made enough plays to win the football game. Looking back on it I'm still not overly enthused about shutting down a guy like Alex Smith, especially when the Bears have struggled recently against the likes of Carson Palmer and Kurt Warner. This will be tough.
