Coleman should be cut without question. Of the worst safety duo in the NFL, he is the worst. Allen should either have to battle for the starting spot or be a backup. Honestly, I'd much rather see Phillips line up alongside Earl Wolff/Colt Anderson/Patrick Chung than Allen right now.

I agree that Anderson's main role is on special teams (probably one of the best players out there), but he made some brutal plays last year when given the chance.

Yeah, it's good for him because last year it was tough to watch him get nailed. At least this gives him a little protection and less injury prone. Just saw him talk at training camp on ESPN, he seems determined to be starter. Should be fun to watch who gets it.

Agreed. Not going to get into the typical Foles/Vick debate we have here once a week, but Vick takes more hits than any QB should have to. Personally, I'd like to see each QB (Vick, Foles, and Barkley) play a preseason game and see who does best!

Yeah, I might actually watch the preseason games this year haha

I'm excited for the QB competition. I wouldn't be surprised if Foles gets traded for someone if they see a glaring hole on the team somewhere in preseason that they can fill through a trade.

Perhaps, but other than at the QB position right now, I don't think here's any "huge" holes they need to fill. However, preseason is fun when there is something on the line

^^^^This if not now, at least in the long run I think Foles will be gone.

I am also excited for the WR battle. Lots of talent there, interested to see who makes the team. I'm really hoping Damaris Johnson can somehow stick around.

This probably correlates to the fact that he holds the ball longer than just about any qb.

Furthermore, he fails to read defenses and accurately pick up where the blitz is coming from.

Finally, Andy Reid generally kept things in house. However, one of his biggest complaints about Vick was how he never followed the actual play. Often times a play would call for a one step drop or a three step drop but Mike would take 5 or 7. Timing plays were nonexistent. This will be his biggest challenge under chip, who wants quick decisions to be made at the line.

I am not taking away from the poor play of the o line last year, but there is a reason vick has been hit his entire career despite all his talent.

I'm excited to see what that 6'7" WR Momah can do! Said he runs like a 4.4 or something? Freakish speed for that size. Nice to see they signed Johnson, and curious to see what that other big dude they signed for the line will do!

Damaris Johnson, has anyone ever seen how tiny he is!? I sat behind the Philly bench for the monday night game against Carolina last year, that dude has to be the smallest on the team!!! For his own personal safety, he needs to be a ST player!! I took pictures of him standing beside the other players while he was on the sidelines.. Guy is small lol.. has the talent though

As for Vick... the muscle mass, yeah that'll help him stay off the IR, but that's not gonna change his fumbling or int rate.. through the first 5 games last year, I think Vick accounted for 14 of the Eagles' 18 TO's...

I actually think the 4 lbs will be gone by the time the season begins. Look at Utley for the Phillies, every year he shows up jacked at spring training and after a month he is back to his skinny self.

Eagles signed former Cardinals RB Williams Powell the other day. Not going to lie, but not sure what Chip plans on doing with him, because I thought we were already stacked at RB.

Probably just a camp body, possibly return specialist?

I actually like Powell. I think he did really well in his little playing time on the cardinals especially with that POS OL. But you're completely right when you say we're stacked at RB we really don't need him.

I too like the addition from Arizona but with all of the running backs we already have I don't quite understand the pick up.

The safety position worries me just as much as the QB position. I'd like to see Phillips and Chung starting there with maybe Nate Allen rotating in.

You don't like Colt Anderson? I like him more than Allen really. Coleman needs to go right now though haha

Chances are slim that Powell will make the team.
