It isnt the same auto anymore but that ball looks like its pretty old. So im asuming hea changed his sig a bit.. But the way it is signed you can tell the same person did it.

Don't want to burst your bubble, but I'm pretty sure that's fake. I have his 2012 auto:

And it looks a lot different than that. The "J" and the "s" are totally different in both pictures.

Bo has signed a lot of ways, and on a ball vs a card the auto's are always different, your not writing on a stationary flat surface..

Totally understandable, but it looks significantly different haha. If I signed my name on paper and on a ball, they'd look a bit different, but you'd still know it's my signature.

My first thought was either a really sloppy or fake Bo Jackson...look at his certified signed footballs, and most look significantly different.

I'm not great at telling real from different, but comparing it to certified autographed Bo Jackson footballs, the autographs don't look the same or comparable at all.

People trying to help other people. Why even have a forum when you could just ask experts?

I literally said i have his 2012 sp authentic auto and while they look differeny the sp authentic is this years auto.. Im guessing this one is from earlier because the ball looks older.. And also its on a ball not a card. If you look at the 2 u can see similarities and tell the same person wrote it in my personal opinion.

Not to mention i think the auto on your card is a poor representation of his auto the b looks terrible.

I always wondered - Is it easy to get the ink off this football? I think that question matters a lot - Because if it is "faked" that means the guy could not "trial and error" and get a right-looking signature ... if he messed up, he would ruin a nice-looking football

If you can't get the marker off easily, then I say that increases the odds of any football Autograph being authentic just because people aren't going to risk having the Auto turn out bad, ruining the football, etc.

I actually really want the answer to this question because I sometimes look at Auto'd footballs and I always question if they're real too

I think when you look at player autos you have to take a few things into consideration.. Were they sitting down and signing 1000 stickers.. Did they just come off the field and a fan caught em in the middle of going from the stadium to their ride... Was the player at an uto session... Their sigs are gona look diff from one to the other whether its because they are fatigued from signing so many.. Are in anhurry or whatever else.. To me you have to look at parts of the auto m look for similarities.. Im no expert but i think this one looks like it was prolly signed awhile ago so the auto were looking at will look diff from one signed today.. But also it was likely a fan catching him in the midst of going from one place to another.. Yea the auto is shorter than most of his sigs u see today but the fact that it was clearly recognizable to me bcuz i pulled the sp authentic auto last month and see it constantly says something.. I think its most likely bo's auto looking at the similarities but who knows.. I think if i were faking an auto tho i wouldnt do it on a ball that cost 40 bucks or so and it would be a more noteworthy player that would sell for more.

You can take a washcloth to a football and get the sig off. That ball is fake. Bo is consistent with his sigs, and very rarely signs for free in person, leaving little room for variation and "short" sigs like that would be.

Because there are quite a few members here with as much or more knowledge as the "experts" you'd pay money to have authenticate.

I don't get why it's frowned upon to answer a question "Is this Autograph real?" - This is a card forum where we answer each other's questions right ?

He asked about the autograph and we gave our opinions. If you don't like it, don't click on the thread.

Yes, but those experts you pay actually have (mostly) good standing the real world. Try reselling something based on the comments of the people here.
